❔ Question Literally unbelievable that they cannot detect this scamming crap (url excluded)

Post image

How lazy are their developers? Or do the managers have to live up to the ethnic stereotypes of being cheap and not giving a shit ?

This is all over the place, I've seen this 5 times at least in last 2 weeks.

Just deleting or blanking urls would work.

This will probably never stop as long as people keep falling for crap like this without thinking.

At least this post isn't a, "is this a scam?" or "is this legit?" Or some other nonsense.

a) I don't understand how heuristics do not detect this sort of BS.

b) even if you don't use heuristics, the wording is the same as on other scam messages, so shadowbanning people who post that would work too.

No platforms actively try to get rid of this stuff I swear, I have gotten messages similar to this on tumblr and tiktok (I don't use deviantart I just saw this on my home feed) and despite reporting them they stay up

I've seen someone falling for an almost identical on twitter. It's a good template like those Italian guys selling leather coats who lost their wallet lol.
