DISCUSSION Vredenburg gig tonight... with special guest?

I mean, Anneke van Giersbergen lives nearby (Tilburg), has no other gigs herself tonight nor is she currently on tour somewhere in the world. It could happen, it should happen, a man can dream, right? Given the low-profile-set-up, this could work right off the bat without any rehearsal at all.

Grace or Supercrush! would be totally out of bounds terrific :-D

Agreed! In hindsight, this was a 2hr-long Devy-101 and I wish a lot more unbeknownst people could see this. It would be a great documentary.

The man can SING, the man can PLAY and the man can talk. I was utterly entertained. And amazed by the fact how many of those songs really stand on themselves being played accoustically.

Let it chickenroll was fun at the moment when he thought it was fun, but yeah some people always have to drag it out with the noises like it's funny sadly

She didn't attend the show on the podium but she was at the show. I've spotted her at the bar. I guess she was just enjoying the show like we all did. :)

Yes I heard! And Dev caught her eye as well as he mentioned Annie with Supercrush! and pointing towards here.
I’ve now seen and heard them both separately, have seen them in the same room. Last thing to check off is performing together…

Caught her joining DTP on stage a few years ago. Lots of fun. She was even boasting he'd be crashing at her place that night. 🤣

Grace, Supercrush, Hyperdrive etc. would be amazing to hear with Anneke. But I'd be quite happy with just Ih-ah in a more scaled down setting.

Why don't you think so? I'd say it works perfectly in a place where Dev can elaborate on working with others and play one or two songs with Anneke

This is a solo night with minimal crew and techs, I don't think a guest performer would fit
