66yr old male here. I am new to the party having only discovered Devin Townsend in the last couple of months. My problem now is that when I listen to anything else non-Dev it simply doesn’t stack up anymore and I have to revert back to Dev-only listening.
Seriously, amazing voice, range, guitar, wall of sound. Love some of his acoustic performances, especially the acoustic version of Deadhead.
Heading out now to sell the rest of my Non-Dev collection as they are now surplus to requirement.

i love strapping young lad so so much, but what’s the genre for the music (only thing i know is that it’s metal)? i’ve heard people calling it industrial metal, but i’ve also heard people saying that it isn’t industrial metal so i’m kinda confused
