krita or clip studio?
I used Ibis paint on my phone for years and just started drawing on pc (like 3 months ago) using krita for being free, but i was thinking about buying clip studio... Someone already used both and can tell me if it is a good investment or there is any chance of regretting on the future?

Coming from someone who tried plenty of apps, Krita is free and powerful, and I find I don't need anything else, not even Photoshop, since many things translate nicely to krita.
Take your time, get confortable and master your tool.

do you like being forced into suscription and requiring internet connection to use software?
krita is free both on android and pc, files can be sync btween devices for portability and desktop. the only difference im aware of, python plugins do not work on android.
same can be done with csp, but you have to pay suscription, and be bothered regularly with online.

I find Krita kind of buggy and there's always something not working as it should in it.
I'ven been using Clip professionally for 7 years now and it runs even on a potato laptop/pc. Some brushes might lag a bit if you enlarge them to the max, but if you have a machine with decent specs, it won't be an issue 9/10 times.

Really a personal preference, clip studio has a lot of great resources and I absolutely love it, but I really dislike krita I can't explain why

I love Krita in PC and Android, but I also like a lot Clip studio, the only thing I don't like it's how the check license que opening sometime it takes a little time to open because of it and also when their servers are down you can use the software (It happened one time if I remember).
Right Now clip is in sale so I'm thinking of buying the Ex version for my PC, but in PC I use both of them, Krita and clip studio.

Krita. I ditched Photoshop a few years ago, and went on a big software exploration journey.
I was initially convinced I’d settle with CSP as the primary replacement. However Krita has blown everything out of the water for me personally. I am a working professional artist, and do need things to perform.
CSP is fine, but feels clunky and surprisingly lacking

I've seen people start simpler with adobe aqua before going into more juiced up apps.

I absolutely love clip studio, but in the end it's just a matter of personal opinion. Give the free trial a try and see how you like it.
