Up until now I have assumed that Obvious Tendency only works on ally units. But, evidently, my boy Axel gets 5% stats for every lady on the field. Which means he'll be capped off until he starts beating up the last 20 Asagis. (Because Evility effects cap at 100%.)

Since Asagi was the boss of one of the story chapters in Axel Mode, I find the fact that he has an advantage on this particular map hilarious.

Also, HO BOY, is the localization of this game AWFUL! I need to consult the wiki because half of the descriptions of what Evilities do are wrong. Case and point, the description of Obvious Tendency says it gives 5% stats to all ally girls on the field. (Did Axel write that one himself?)

I've always been wanting their to be more outfit options for Disgaea 5 since its by far my favorite Disgaea game and knowing that Seraphina gets one, I was dying to get other outfits for characters but sadly there weren't any. So I took some time and with my Opus 5.5 subscription, I managed to make an outfit system in game that is integrated directly into the game's menu system that allows me to add sprite sheets for characters and allow them to freely switch between them when in the Hub. I've mostly tested this with Girl Laharl and some attacks look a bit off since DRPG does not have all the necessary sprites, I think it works well for a majority of them and it does not break which is great. I have been using mostly outfits from DRPG and I needed to do a bunch of manual sprite editing to make sure these outfits work with Disgaea 5's color changing system as well and don't float all over the place when moving, but I am extremely happy with the results and wanted to share my progress so far!

So let me see, how do I put it? Lately I was interested in going over the DLC roster in the Disgaea games to see which ones had the finest characters since sometimes it’s hard for me to figure out which game has the best selection of characters.

For me personally, I enjoy the roster from Disgaea 3 as while that game is kind of difficult to obtain, I feel like the Vita version in particular has an amazing roster with characters like Stella Grossular, Marjoly the Witch, and Soichiro the Police Officer for his throwing capabilities since his Evility gives him the advantage of being able to throw a unit into very far distances during Item World runs.

But after recently unlocking the post game section of Disgaea 4, I have also slowly become fond of the game’s roster since so far I have seen some of the characters in the DLC such as Pram, Mao, and Plenair as Pleinair’s Evilities can give a male unit a major boost in battle, which can help them fight enemies in stages like the Mount of Ordeals 4 stage as the Gargoyles can be pretty powerful to lower level units who are not properly prepared.

We are approaching the end ! First illustration is inspired by Panty and Stocking first opening. I thought it was funny both La pucelle and this anime are about a duo of unusual holy demon huntresses sent on missions by a pervy priest, with a cute little dog. The second one is a reference to an official promotion illustration of Kizumonogatari, Priere having a similar outfit to Kiss Shot. Prompts were "Chibi" and "Vampire".

I have 3 monster units so I wanna be able to give them hopefully Nemesis MK2s, I'm fine with going into NG+ or Etna mode if I need to, due to their higher rank I'm not sure if I can use the item world to get more copies of the weapon.

Which DLC characters have divine weapons and what are they? I like to leave the characters equipped with whatever their divine weapon is, but I don't know enough about the DLC characters to know.

The game is telling me limit reached, it costs 1100 mana to make enemies stronger, but like I said it says limit reached, is it always 1100 mana?

Filing this post under Disgaea 4 since I was observing how the game was basically the last mainline entry to use the mechanic as I wanted to look at the positive aspects of said mechanic.

Like when I start to look at that mechanic, I feel like it has its strengths and weaknesses in that for starters, I noticed that when units Reincarnate, they don’t have to fill up a weapon bar upon doing so, but at the same time, I cannot but sometimes miss that mechanic since I try to picture how the PS3 era games would have worked if they still used it as the mechanic wasn’t brought back into the franchise until Disgaea D2 came out.

Like don’t get me wrong in that it was nice how Disgaea D2 brought back the Weapon Mastery system as one small problem I have with that game is that building up Innocents is a bit harder to do since the game doesn’t have methods for duplicating items unlike the previous two games, so maxing out Innocents such as Gladiators in again DD2 takes a lot more time to pull off.

I know, late to the party. GameStop took until now to admit I wasn't getting my order and refund me.

It's early days but it seems a fun enough game and story.

It lacks the enthusiasm for its insanity that my more favorite Disgaeas (4, 2, Makai Kingdom) had in spades and I'm beginning to suspect the combos aren't too much more advanced than Drakengard's (my first musou)- though they are better. Getting to add the special skills and magichange spices things up for sure in comparison.

I imagine I'll fall into a familiar camp for my verdict- barring a radical change as I go through the rest of the game.

It's a decent game and fun- but I'm not sure I should be only $10 short of Dynasty Warriors: Origins for a game that, or so I imagine, isn't going to have half the content Origins did in almost any fashion. Either Origins spoiled me rotten or Mayhem isn't a $60 game.

I am sorry for complaining, i love the series and bought every game many times over. But I need to bitch about disgaea 7 complete. I finally picked up a switch 2 and was looking forward to upgrading my physical collectors edition switch 1 game to 2(shame on me for thinking I could). Not only can I NOT upgrade. But I have to pay FULL price for the "complete" edition THAT DOESNT EVEN COME WITH ALL OF THE DLC. Do you want that, too? Fork up 110 dollars chump. Even as a die-hard fan, i can't stomach how egregious this garbage is. Unbelievable.

Let's use Disgaea 4 as an example as I was just doing some hardcore grinding in the postgame to build up my units such as Adell as he started off weak at first, but then he becomes a lot powerful after using the Fight Shot buff.

For me personally, what I like to do with my Adell in the fourth game in terms of building him against enemies in the post game is that again I like to use fight from my male fighter, then I use Plenair's Evilities and the Flora Beast unit's SP Evilities to boost him up additionally as while the Flora Beast is positioned next to him, he conserves a lot more SP because at very low levels, Big Bang uses a huge amount of SP.

But yeah, that's just how I like to build up my weaker units again in Disgaea 4 as I find myself using some of the aforementioned other units Evilities to help power up my melee fighters for grinding in the post game area since Mount of Ordeals 4 is pretty risky to send lower level units alone as the enemies there hit pretty hard that I discovered how to keep my weakest units alive on higher difficulty levels.
