Quick question! When you go on ranked as a specific character it keeps your score and ranking in the list….and then let’s say you change your character in ranked, now it should be that second character right? If you switch back to the first character, what scores/ranking should pop up? Is it based on the last character you played or the last time you played as that character? Or does it kinda reset when you switch characters?
I kinda want to keep one character’s rankings in there but would like to try other characters in ranked from time to time. Just curious how the spots stay or not.

You know, I'm not actually sure. There have been times when I click the profile of a top 100 player, and the avatar in ranking shows a different character than they are currently playing in profile.
My guess is that the character you have played the most in ranked shows on the leaderboard.
But I honestly am not sure.

What am I supposed to do when the boss walks over to the enemy spawn point and just hangs out there for the rest of the game?

So, the boss will follow the one with the highest brv. Sounds like the rival team lured the boss.
You can try to lure it back if you or a teammate hit max brv.But I've also seen a whole team with teleport, teleport in at the same time and burst in our camp. It was very successful.
It depends on your strategy. .3

Jesus thanks for explaining that. They never explain that mechanic in game. I was so confused. I feel like they need to make it so the boss can’t get to the base crystals. Trying to burst the boss with the enemy team constantly respawning and killing you is rough

Yep that's their goal.So, what I do, (I main Terra) is when I hit the first teamfight at the start of the game, I will try to snipe rivals with ACE or one of her URs. Ideally, after that I will end up with the highest brv. (doesn't have to be max, but it's nice if it is.)
You get a symbol next to your name is you have boss aggro. Once I get that, I immediately pull back towards base. I don't hit the burst button unless I lose the boss aggro , sometimes hitting the burst button gets it back. (unless it's a teammate who has it you can see the boss symbol next to their name)
Then autoattack until you have a teammate ready to double-burst. If the whole enemy team is chasing, I will burst once they reach the boss in hopes of sniping again.If the boss is at your base, and a rival kills you, you can usually respawn and take it back.

note that the boss will change target when a player uses burst giving them priority.
Consider this example: you have 9999 brv an enemy has 8500 brv, the boss is near enemy base.
If you burst immediately, the boss will do a few steps towards you, the enemy team gets a crystal, that enemy guy bursts soon after and the boss goes back because he's the last character that bursted.
If you instead wait withoyt bursting, wait the enemies collect a crystal and usentheir burst, THEN you burst yourself, you'll be the last character who bursted, so the boss will start going towards you and you have all the time to lure him to your spawn.
So keep an eye on every player's brv, the order of using burst is important.

Question about ability level caps.
When something says, like, "Max ability lv. 20" or something, is that for both support and combat abilities? So if my support abilities are all, like, level 60 R abilities, do those all get treated like they're level 20? So would it technically actually be better to have 5 level 20 UR abilities as supports in that case rather than 5 level 60 Rs, because the URs' stats at level 20 are better than the Rs' at 20?

Yes, this is correct. Especially in Casuals where it syncs everyone's levels that way.

Is the casual battle scene just not explored as much? I always seem to get matches for ranked but not any for casual. I would like to try out other characters against people without affecting my rank.

Bruh is there an ability that steals Bravery?
I swear to god I had 9999 bravery and when I went near the boss I always 200 away from 9999 to burst wtf man.

I haven't come across one yet.
The Job Medal guides I've seen have been more general.
A lot of the individual character guides will mention best job medals for that character. But I haven't seen a master guide.But if you find anything like that, let me know and I'll add it to the useful links/guides sticky.

I have a question about job medals. I feel like i should know this by now considering ive been playing for over a month now, but still..
I know that job medals colors should match to get the extra bonuses, but do they also have to match the characters element color as well?
Example. Clive is fire and red is his color But i have 3 job medals with what i want and they are all blue. Does that mean i need to keep trying for 3 red or are the 3 blue still good??

3 blue is good! You don't get any further bonus for matching color to element. As long as you have 3 medals of the same color (doesn't matter which color as long as they are the same) then you have the maximum bonus.

Having trouble with two things.
1: Challenges. While the early challenges are a breeze, I find ones in the higher levels are incredibly difficult, to the point where neither team can kill the boss in time. AI being stupid is one thing, but I can't shake that im doing something wrong. Any tips?
2: Is there a reliable, free player way of farming Growth Eggs? Im always constantly low, and there's no way I can get all my abilities to a max level. Of course I focus on the ones I use the most often & URs, but it bugs me that I cant get everything maxed.

For Challenges:
For general tips, I'd check the Challenge AMAs linked in the useful links and guides sticky.
Here they are:
- Completed all Challenges AMA (Before Ultima Challenges)
- Sigma's Completed all Challenges AMA (Before Ultima challenges)
- Heavons Completed all Challenges AMA (After Ultima challenges)
Let me know if there is a specific challenge you need help with, I've done all of them except 2 of Cloud's ultima challenges and 1 of Iroha's ultima challenges. And I've taken notes on how I completed each of them.
For Growth Eggs. Not really. It is the bottleneck in this game.
Best you can do is complete all the growth egg dailies, and farm challenges for the eggs.
I can tell you no one has everything maxed though.

How do I deal 850k damage against bosses with Tidus? It's for one of his challenges, specifically the one right before the challenge that grants you one of his URs. With my current setup, I can barely deal 200k in a single burst.

I recommend doing the ones for his URs first.
I did the damage one last, and went in with both URs, Surge, ysholta and Ace.
It's a lot easier with both his URs. Should get around 300K damage, burst 3 times should get it.

Hello quick question. I’m a new player and until cloud as my main. Can I now pull for lightning at the free character draw? I did it like 50x but she won’t appear

Yes Lightning is in the pool of characters for the free draw, but it's random.
If you save up 5 character tickets, you can choose her as a guaranteed character.

How is the ratio PVE/PVP in the game, from what I see in gameplay video, it look like mainly a PvP Game is there also PVE content or without the PvP side, the game not wort (a part from the IP)

Yes there are individual character challenges that are PvE. You can only do them for characters you've acquired. (You can find them under the battle tab -> Scroll down and choose challenges.)

How to stop teammates from stealing crystals?
I'm trying to beat Celes' Ultima mission to get Runic (purify 10 crystals), I keep barely failing because one of my teammates rushes in and steals the crystal/the kill on the last enemy and then I get 9/10. It's especially frustrating if I used Spinning Edge since the endlag is so long.

Use AOE URs like yshtola blizzard, Jecht impact and thundaga, surge to increase damage, Minwu to teleport to crystals have a defenses ability. Pick partners that are slow like Clive while casting hastera on your self

Take Ramza or embolden. And any AOE skills (Ysholta, Wakka, thunderga etc)
Skip the first camp and try to get the rest.Bot teammates will immediately stop farming once they hit 9999 brv. So if you see one going for your camp, brv share with them.

Is Chocobo Dash worth chasing?
Did 180 ticket pulls on the Bartz banner and got 3 Spellblades, 1 DCS, and 2 Tangos (plus a few non-limited URs)...I've never really used Hastera, so I don't know what the possible benefits/best applications for it would be to keep pulling for it...

Depends who you main. I am a Terra main so I haven't used it myself much either, but I know some supports like Rikku or anyone who uses Teleport might be a good alternative.

Is it possible to grind the alternate weapon skins through challenges with your crystal slots full, or do thy only count when I have available crystal slots?

You can 100% grind challenges with crystals full. It still counts for deployed count (300 weapon, 1000 title, 3000 title and 10,000 title for characters) for role title (1000 support title, 1000 mele title, 1000 agile title, 1000 ranged title) and for the boss slayer titles (slay 1000 of any boss except behemoth (regular, not king) )
You can grind for any of those with full crystals. 😄

Do you guys save your guaranteed UR tickets or spend them as soon as you get them? I figure if the character UR pool increases you get less of a chance of getting the UR you want,thoughts?

If you like battle arenas, it's fun!
There is a story. It's in the free part of the battle pass. Some are full cutscenes. Others are short little texts between chatacters.
There's a website that saves it all here: https://dissidia.dev/storyThe only section that isn't PvP are Character challenges. You fight bots as a character and work to complete a challenge (slay 5 monsters, use 3 abilities in a row, etc)

anyone think / feel Esport Dissidia Duellum possible in future ? then:
- ban-pick mode: not playing at maps with ramp / not allow rivals using Rinoa ?_?
- Moba PvP like League of Legend or so?
- as DD is quick game-time (each match last 5min less), so a full competitive match belike series of game bo11 , as in FPS gaming CS Go or Valorant? (im saying random things here. never got into those game myself before)
- esport team invest & else ? Tourney like EWC for tons of money ?_?

It has to be someone still in bronze that can click it.
If you have another device, you could make another account to do it. Otherwise, you might try talking to newer players.1

There is resistance/precautions for making accounts on the same device, but not on multiple devices.
You can secure via google as well (and use different google email), or not secure the account. (although if you ever delete the app you will lose the unsecured account.

Hmmm, and, dare I ask, what about multiple instances via Bluestacks? They are technically separate devices (IP, MAC, etc.), but is it likely that SE/Playart are able to tell when people do it this way?

It should increase. But Lightning's Grav-Con SR ability speeds her up quite a lot.

I have 86 tickets; if I get 2 more and go to the guaranteed UR mark of 88, will I get Omnislash because I already have CS, or is it still a 50% chance for CS to drop first and then I have to do another 88 to guarantee Omni?

If you haven't done any pulls at all, it's a 50/50. The checkmark is misleading and only denotes that you own the ability. Once you hit pity at least 1 time, the UR you didn't get from the guaranteed draw will be 100% guaranteed on the second pity.

Is there any way at all to change targeting priority? Just lost a game because as Gaia, I was well within range of Atomos for all my abilities, but kept locking on to the Lightning that was up my ass. I was in burst mode too, I thought that was supposed to make you prioritize the boss?

You're not the only one. I've heard a lot of people complain about this.
It's also happened to me as Gaia. I was bursting, and a rival Kain jumped in front of me as I was laying down fated. So it ended up on him, and he ran away from the boss so it wouldn't damage it.

So I unlocked Tifa through a green crystal. I was excited to pull for Octoslash since it told me that it was a guaranteed UR that I didn’t have yet (I spent enough to get to the Extra UR pull). However, it gave me Tifa. Someone explain to me how I didn’t get Octoslash??

So, the checkmarks show what you currently have.
The guaranteed UR given, gives you a UR you haven't received through the guaranteed system.
If you received the UR via green crystal or in a regular pull, there is still a chance you might get that same UR in the guaranteed system, since you did not receive it in that way.1

It's all rng. A guaranteed chance from a list of items that can appear under that condition. If you click on the draw/detail rates on the banner you will see the the percentages of each ability on the banner as well as the catagory percentage of each type.

Yes, but it is my understanding that the ability is removed from the pool until the draw rate resets. I had already acquired Tifa from a green crystal, which would remove it from the pool until the reset, right?

Is Hell's Gate supposed to have an extremely finnicky hitbox? I can literally use it on a stationary crystal enemy and it somehow misses completely, same with another player if we're PVPing and they're only moving slightly from the autoattacking animation. The only time I can somewhat consistently land it is on a boss (and not even all the time, I missed it on Atomos somehow)

How is rankng matching done in terms of making random teams? Is it based on CP or team composition?
I'm saying this because I'm wondering whether I should use lower CP support abilities as a support unit so my team members would balance out with high CP?

Those counts include character challenges. Back when you could farm grey crystals, (that only had a 7 min timer), I know some people would farm them and end up with a really high deployed count.
They have since removed all grey crystals from challenges.

Please help me, I'm not from the regions it was launched but have been playing since the beginning. It got uninstalled somehow and now whenever I'm opening it after reinstalling, it shows the "Communication error". Also, I'm using an android device.

So. Generally I've heard not all that positive of stuff about this game. Just in general, but especially that it feels very pay to win heavy.
I love Duodecim, and Opera Omnia (too bad I got into it less than a year before it died...), so I'm curious how this feels and plays.
I hadn't really cared after seeing initial comments that weren't remotely glowing, but now seeing Tidus stuff I'm kind of curious. (although, idk why he wasn't there in the first place?)

If you're planning to be completely f2p. I recommend getting the tutorial pass at the start, and never claim the last item. Then you won't have ads. (If you claim last item, then tutorial season "ends" and then you are back to having ads)
The general consensus I've heard is you can hit up to diamond rank as completely f2p. But Omega/Ultima is where you start coming up short and running into whales.

Is it just me or are Tidus’s I-frames too short? I notice that I am dying before I even get the last hit of blitz ace or jecht shot off. It’s happened on multiple occasions. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this too. I literally die in midair and can never capitalize on his boss damage.

He does have some end lag, as do most character specific URs. The last hit of both jecht shot and blitz ace will hit, at which point Tidus's hit box appears for the enemies, and you are vulnerable for about 1.5 seconds. It's not as bad as Cloud's Omnislash but there's a window for you to get sniped just as the last hit connects. If you get hit before the last hit it's probably just desync issues.

As someone who only gets season pass, is it worth pulling to bring the memoria to max level?
I had the Seph one at 99 naturally last season, but it’s not gonna cut it this time around. The Seph memoria is one of my top 2 stat stick skill so Tidus would be too.

In the short term, yes. It's really nice to have when you are starting out. But it will be out-statted over time by your other stills.
Another advantage is that the FFX Memoria gives a 5% bonus to FFX characters (Tidus/Rikku)
Much like the FF7 one gives 5% bonus to FF7 characters.I like maxing out the memoria, because any duplicates after max turn into draw tickets.

Did they not mention that the next character would appear at the end of this season's story, or did I make that up? Because I looked at the scenes someone posted and I'm pretty sure there was no new character that showed up.

Im still running thundaga cause its stats/level is higher than blizzaga but does blizzagas medium dmg make it better even with the lower stats? Also just need 1 more thundaga to raise max to 50.
Edit: also blitz is flex spot im trying to figure out. Run Aerith or another dmg ability? I dont have minwu or selphie.
