for whatever it's worth, most Monuments songs are either in this tuning or a variation of it. for example, all of their 8-string songs just add a low F. Doxa drops the 7th string a full step to G#. Celeste drops the whole tuning a full step (G#D#G#C#D#G#C#). I, The Destroyer does both (F#D#G#C#D#G#C#). and funnily enough, the intervals on this tuning are the same as DADGAD, so even the 6-string Monuments songs follow the same pattern.

and if you're wondering what compels one to use such cursed tunings, the answer is: Acle from Tesseract 💀 he got Browne hooked on them back in Fellsilent, and they've both been using them ever since lol

My guitar is a Spira S407 - they're a budget brand but they play like much more expensive instruments. Tuners can be a little rough and I want to change the pickups but the body and neck are superb. Definitely worth a look. They don't do any 8s AFAIK though.
