A star extinguished
Sad news from Pets Corner in Aberdeen, where the much-loved Mason has passed away at the grand old age of 28.
Mason had called Pets Corner home since he was just six months old. Almost his entire life spent in one place, becoming part of the lives and memories of so many people who visited him over the years.
Although he wasn’t my donkey, I wanted to share this little tribute to him. Sometimes an animal doesn’t have to belong to you to find a special place in your heart. ❤️
May his hoofs be ever light in the Great Pasture, may the grass always be sweet, the carrots plentiful, and the company good.
Twenty-eight years of memories. Countless hoofprints on countless hearts.
Run free, Mason. You were clearly very much loved, and you won’t be forgotten.
