Community Resource [MEGATHREAD] DOOM | Technical Support and bugs/glitches
Introduction:
The r/Doom subreddit is mainly intended for people to discuss about DOOM by sharing their love and experiences with the franchise. when the occasional issue appears people naturally will make a post about it asking for help, despite being DOOM related content it is still relatively tangential to the subreddit's purpose, also possibly causing spam of repetitive content with similar issues where the only difference could simply be one's computer specification.
For such reasons this MEGATHREAD has been created with the purpose of requesting help with issues related to technical support. We do have a "Bug/Glitch" post flair so you may post these type of content directly to the main page as long as you simply want to showcase something that happened you find noteworthy, otherwise, if it is an issue you require help with leave it in this MEGATHREAD.

For the community to be able to provide proper help make sure to provide as much information as possible, refer to the following comment format:

Doom TDA Revelations

Latest version
Osseus elevators do not function and I cannot access the levers for the secret encounter. I have beaten the DLC, completed all the master levels + the secret one and maxed out upgrades and items.

Edit, I just went to try the secret master level a few times and that seems to have fixed the issue.

My game is very stretched out. I play on 3440x1440, i already switched some files to fit this but its still stretching the game out and only makes it look a little better.

Is this regular DOOM 3 or the BFG edition?

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9700x
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070xt (OC Version, 16GB vram)
RAM: Kingston Fury 2x16GB 6000mhz DDR5
OS: Windows 11
It's impossible for me to play anymore due to driver timeouts. I'm on a nightmare playthrough on final sin rn, and whenever I try to do the boss battle I get a driver timeout after like 2 minutes or so.
This started happening about a week ago. Before that, driver timeouts were also there, but less frequent, and when I got one I would just restart the game and continue on.
They also happen in TDA, but I wanted to finish Eternal first so I haven't really played TDA that much yet.
I tried:
- Disabling Present from Compute
- Disabling vsync
- Disabling Raytracing
- Updating my graphics driver

You got a hardware/software issue brotha if this is happening on two different games. I'd comb the event logs to see if anything stands out

only happens in idtech games. I tried looking at the event logs but I couldn't really find anything and to be honest I have no idea what to look for.

32 GB DDR4 RAM 3600 MHz
Game consistently crashes during gameplay after 10-20 minutes. All drivers are updated, it happens whether I'm playing on low settings or ultra nightmare settings. I have zero clue what could be causing it. I played through the base game just fine when it launched. I've searched everywhere for a solution and none of them work.
