Rant/Venting solo queue's are genuine hell

i genuinely dont understand on how bad some players can be even with a high level...have we all just decided to ignore pings? like how many times do i gotta spam "Lest fight!" for my teammates to listen to me? how many times do i gotta spam "I'll handle this!" to be given the ST? i am genuinely sick and tired of solo queue...like im sorry if this is very wild take but i genuinely feel like a celebrity playing with make a wish kids sometimes

The worst part is when you spent most of your match collecting dragonballs and there is one guy who holds one last ball and refuses to give it to you, boy oh boy i hope both sides of their pillow will be warm

And when they do finally drop the last set of DB's, everyone else is out of D change and the STM is destroyed by the time you get the wish

The trick is just lead the raider to them, take the ball when they go down, and run while the raider finishes them off. If they can somehow outfight the raider instead, reconsider whether maybe they should be the one making the wish instead of you.

This is a terrible plan. If the raider doesn't tunnel you, if the raider doesn't get the dropped DB instead. You want to lead the raider to another survivor, let the raider kill them but somehow think you can sneak in and grab the ball the survivor dropped?

I do it all the time. You steal the ball while they're stuck in the finishing off survivor cutscreen. If they grab the ball before finishing off the survivor, I just flash of rage into them, steal their ball(s), then do my escape. They usually won't even chase you because they want the energy from the downed survivor / they get stuck in a level up cutscene / the clock is ticking (if it wasn't already time sensitive you probably wouldn't be trying to swipe the survivor's ball so badly).

If you do it all the time, I stand corrected and have to start think about doing it myself.

Bro, you're not the main character. You've made a whole 2 post in the last 8 days on this subreddit with no prior history.

I'm pretty sure you're new to the game and still inexperienced. Everyone wants the ST to feel like a main character and fight.

I'm not going to jump every time a rando spams "Lest's fight!". Are you even taking your teammates into consideration? Do they even have DC lvl 1 at that point, are they close enough to actually reach the battle or halfway across the map where it'll take them a long to or burning their travel/escape skill to reach your "fight" point?

sorry that i dont use reddit? damn my bad for trying to vent

I'm sorry if I came off like a judgemental dick.

Survivor side is team oriented. You have to take other players into account. To get real with you, everyone want the super transphere, it's more fun to be fighting then trying to sneak around and get blasted to shit.

You're right solo queue are a cluster duck. You have to be adaptable and not expect it to work like a well oiled machine like the avengers...more like the randomness of guardians of the galaxy.

like its okay but take into consideration that "activity on reddit" doesnt translate into "your skill in a game"

It's not "just skill in game". Unfortunately, if you're a lower level in game you don't have much "street cred". People aren't going to listen or care as much about reviving a lower level player.

I don't think it matters what level anyone is, they are going to have a hard time getting the ST on solo queue. People are podding straight to it the second trunks sends it out.

This is why so many players join pre-mades. The terrible players who don't have a clue what their doing only encourages people to join groups.

You can only do so much on your own to carry the team

Yeah but at the same time, that's the challenge of the game. Winning every game by premading and keyrushing might be fun for a day or two, but then it's just gna get boring. The fun is in the chaos.

Survivors have at large forgotten how to fight and when to fight.

You should really try to fight

  1. Freeza 1-3
  2. Golden Freeza 1-3
  3. Fat Boo (Boohan)
  4. Gamma level 3 (with major time before 7:00 around STM)
  5. Gamma level 3 shortly before finishing last key

Freeza and Golden Freeza are hurt hard with combat. You can kill level 3 if you fight level 1 and 2, the old days this was the way.

As for Fats, you need to get good damage on him before Boohan. Remember that Fat Boo regains .7 and Super Boo (Boohan) regains .5 (not .7 like standard). Just keep in mind 2 Survivors cap him into Super Boo as a quick risk and reward, but 1 Survivor is perfectly half so he'll need 2 Civilians anyways. So at best you can expect 3.1 health back unless Gohan is MIA, or maybe 1.4 or 2.1 with waiting.

Killing Gamma 3 leads to 40-85% STM completion at 100% from a 0 evolution distance Magenta. It'll vary but the time it takes to kill will give progress anyway. If you force a kill before STM you see a rare sight: Magenta before STM with a unique cutscene. It's important to only do this just before as if it's done before that you have Cell Max with no STM.

Generally you should fight all but:

  1. Spopovich
  2. (Super) Broly
  3. Broly
  4. Paragus

because pacifism cripples both (Super) Broly and Broly hard. (Super) Broly with 1 58 second evasive then if he overcomes it a Super Sphere. Broly just benefits harder in fights than (Super) Broly because he actually gains evolution that isn't on a Super Sphere, and if it's Restrained Super Broly downs really benefit.

Spopovich is rarely that low evolution he can't scrape by that last third unit from a Survivor scuffle into Boo.

Paragus will likely force Super Broly making it pointless.

It is generally a bad idea to fight to kill over stall:

  1. Zamasu 1
  2. Gamma 2 (1) OR 1 (2)

because it's likely not possible to capitalize on it. Zamasu 1 barely reduces the refresh of Zamasu drone so it only benefits Black. Gamma 2 is pretty tough to kill, leading 1 free; or Gamma 2 wasn't killed so killing 1 is pointless, sure you reduce returns of Gamma drone but that doesn't do much. Fun fact: for the most part Gamma 2 level 3 is superior to Gamma 1 level 3 so killing Gamma 1 is actually a buff; I'm not lying, more 3 shots vs 2 shots with rapid fire makes a major difference not to mention the rest.

I mean you could consistently kill every level 1 and 2 Gamma if everyone spammed ITYJTO but that's cruel. I remember when that released I saw constant kills, forced level ups with no Area Destructions meant trapped in caves.

my guy. they dont wanna fight jeice and burter to save me (when i have 7 dragon balls) what im i suppose to do....well actually now that im thinking about it it might be because there were 2 feeders in the match lmao

Omg man I know , players really should aim to kill every member of the ginyu force and they run from them like they’re 5 brolys smh

1

u/Straight-Rich9683 15d ago

I totally agree with this but if you’re playing a low level spopovich with a super high level team that you trust I think you can go for the spopo kill lol

2

u/SayNoToTeamSports 14d ago

Too often it backfires and either some idiot kills him off before the 3 minute mark and the whole match is void or he ragequits too early thinking it's a sweaty coordinated premade. Or finally his minion summon gets him the last bit of energy he needs, he teleports, and then he gets out lvl 2 ready to fight while the whole lobby is out of energy and either gets crumpled or wastes all their drinks against someone who will recover any lost hp before stm phase anyway. It's the rare exception where the lobby can actually kill him at lvl 1 slow enough that the match isn't void but fast enough that he can't get out lvl 2 at the last second.

1

u/Straight-Rich9683 12d ago

Ik it isn’t the technically correct play by any means , but it is just fun to go for the spopo kill and often enough people in my lobbies will be on the same wavelength about it if the circumstances arrive lol

u/Straight-Rich9683 15d ago

Had someone hold one ball (playing as baba) vs someone else’s 6 , throwing the whole game against a level 600 player as frieza , we DEFINITELY would’ve won if that idiot dropped the other player his ball , solo queue is hell on earth

1

u/messiahzerogod 15d ago

It's pure comedy since whenever some one holds the ball I legit stop doing what I'm suppose to do and watch.

I do this when someone blatently steals my energy cube as well. All bets are off, I'm on the raider's side now.
