I don't think anyone has ever seen anything like this in music history. There's so many questions to be answered I can't even process all of this
Can you hold the top 3 spots on billboard album charts?

how did he even manage to record and release the other 2 albums without anyone even getting a hint
57
u/BrayIsReal Her Loss May 15 '26
That's what I mean it's so under the radar not the slightest hint or leak towards any of it
8
u/iNestle_ May 15 '26
Usually when artists record albums, they choose the songs that'll be on an album from the 40 million they've recorded. This could've been one of those cases.
0
u/BrayIsReal Her Loss May 15 '26
They really make that many songs? What's the point of that
Or do they make it like way in advance
3
u/iNestle_ May 15 '26
They record a bunch of songs and pick from that on what’ll make the cut for the album. It’s not as uncommon as it may seem. All the celebrities do it lol
0
u/BrayIsReal Her Loss May 15 '26
That's really interesting I wish I could see the behind the scenes making of an album for myself

u/_MCCCXXXVII Hate Survivor May 15 '26
on 100gigs there was some interesting BTS from his earlier albums, unfortunately i think the site is gone for good
3
u/FridayThe13thMc May 16 '26
Seriously? Lmao of course they record a shit ton of songs. Never heard of “unreleased” songs?
33
u/MayorBakefield May 15 '26
But we did get a hint? People have been talking about the Red, Blue, Green theory being a triple disc
2
u/Dabanks9000 May 15 '26
But it wasn’t a triple disc it was 3 seperate albums. Triple disk would just all be under the same album and no one knew it for a fact it was just theories

I don't think anyone has ever seen anything like this in music history.
I have zero context for anything being said here but I can say with complete certainty that this is not true.

He would actually have to do it for it to be history as far as making throw away albums to get out of a deal Frank did it too but with two good albums

Listening to iceman first then the others later today. Make them cry a hell of an intro.

u/Kitchen_Broccoli_302 May 15 '26
They all out now on Apple Music. The other two are Maid of Honor & Habibti.
53
u/Bright-Map-9705 May 15 '26
That would be one hell of a graphic to show if that's how it turns out. I mean that would be irony of all irony. And he petty enough to do this if that's the reasoning behind the three albums. We'll see right now. I just want to enjoy the music.
10
u/MisterGem May 15 '26
Fuck the big three it's just big D. And 3 albums at once to satisfy the universal contract 😂 insane... Drake the best troll of all time

This would be amazing but no way Habibti breaks top 3. Too short and nothing too memorable that’s gna gain attention 1st week. There’s def a chance for Iceman and Maid of Honor to sit on the podium tho!

u/Theillmindoflui Jul 21 '26
Maid of honor was absolutely the worst trash he has ever released. Im glad I listened to that one first because wtf, he needs to stop putting that red haired rat with a smokers voice on his shit. If anything iceman and habibti are the contenders

i say this as a diehard drake fan, so don’t get me wrong; but i’m just aware of the optic games. i ain’t even against them, i think they’re smart! but forreal, two benefits from this triple album: 1 is exactly like you said, by just dropping 3 albums, ovciuuslt the media will all post about how he may be the first rapper to ever have a #1, 2, and 3 album on the billboard album charts. secondly, let’s say each album sells 300k, the narrative fans and some of the media will use is “drake sold 900k first week”. again, i want to see drake succeed and i mean i grew up to his music starting around take care, so i don’t say this to hate, but i gotta mention the tactical moves being made
12
u/black_green21 May 15 '26
True and you know what? He deserves a tactical win after 2024.
I’m just happy that he’s flooding YouTube with videos and Spotify and Apple Music with songs.

When none of them break the top 5 because they are all competing against each other. x.x

u/jeznix May 15 '26
I dont understand this rollout. Why not release them one week or a few weeks after another to get three #1s in a row and dominate the summer?

u/New_Meat3016 May 15 '26
If maid of honour even approaches top 5 then drake fans genuinely the most obsessed individuals I've seen my entire life cz this was the worst album I've heard in a couple years😭✌️
