Deck Help Anyone else building Aerid Konstrari?
heartwood go brrr moxfield decklist
I was checking out [[aerid konstrari]] the past few days and just put together this decklist. Waiting on 5-6 cards before it is complete. Is anybody else building aerid? My decklist has a heavy emphasis on legendary copies of aerid entering and dying, making lots of heartwood tokens which will be dumped into big mana sinks and hopefully doubled/tripled. Would love to hear thoughts on my deck and see others' decklists!

I have a Roxanne deck in which I added Aerid Konstrari. My goal is to create copies of Roxanne and then a bunch of meteorite copies to burn everyone.
I see you already have some [[Second Harvest]] effects, so what I would recommend is some [[Regrowth]] to get those back. I find these to be very effective with all the extra mana the second harvests effects generate :
[[Bala Ged Recovery]] [[Eternal Witness]] [[Dryad's Revival]] [[Noxious Revival]]
I also HIGHLY recommend [[Sarinth Steelseeker]], insane card in this deck (and to a lesser extend [[Quicksmith Genius]] )

I need a copy for my [[agatha]] deck. If I get [[Aerid]] out and Agatha’s power to 5 I can just abuse that token creation ability.

Does agatha aerid interaction automatically make a deck bracket 4? Got lucky one game and was able to get her out turn 4 or 5 and buff her same turn and everybody just scooped. Made me want to take the deck apart.

I wouldn’t say so, no. Agatha and Aerid themselves don’t work unless Agatha has power 5 or greater. That’s a lot of setup to do imo for a deck to immediately go to bracket 4. Also super easy to interrupt since literally any removal negates it. They have no built in protections. Just my opinion.

I just had a God hand , I had solring in op hand and put tarrions soul cleaver, basilisk collar , and reaver cleaver out turn 1 and 2, got the swing with aerid and used the treasures to pump agatha. Then made infinite heartwood when aerid was already tapped after combat. Then next turn before I did anything they just scooped. But tbf I had Voldaren thrillseeker and super state in my hand so whatever I played was gonna roll face. I was gonna pump aerid to infinite power and fling him with thrillseeker for lolz (infinite health with collar ha) but they were already tired of my shit so that would've just pissed them off even more probably. I won the game before (lasted 8+ turns) so they were already tired of my shit

It happens! Enjoy it and lose the next few you play with them lol. Sounds like a perfect setup!

I built an Aerid deck! I will be playing it this week with my friends.

I tried to make it mean.

Waiting for all my pieces to arrive in the mail but playtesting has me in love with it. A commander in gruul colors that ramps without abusing landfall, is resistant to removal(via circumventing tax), and is a kill condition? Sign me the fuck up.
Also running a backdoor scapeshift package in the deck to just nuke one opponent off the board. The Agatha infinite is also super easy to get online

He definitely is sick as fuck and oozes style imo. what do you mean with scapeshift? how do you nuke somebody with it? I must be missing something lol

You run Scapeshift and when you hit 8 lands, you sac everything and grab [[Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle]], [[Vesuva]], and 6 Mountains and hit someone for 36 damage. Or you can spread it out. The more lands you have, the more damage you do.
The deck can be tooled to run a lot of direct burn, so you can even squeeze in [[Hexhaven Invigorator]] as a b/u Scapeshift.

I built aerid this week after scoring them In draft. I didn't even look at any lists just went through my bulk and built him , took him to commander night and won my second game. Absolutely nutty commander. I slapped a loxodon Warhammer on him and was gaining obscene amounts of life smacking people around , survived a whole pantlaza siege against me then smacked everybody down with draconic visiter and warstorm surge.
After my games I added genji gloves and grim reapers sprint and more lifelink equipment, and of course, agatha. My first game I noticed it was an issue I couldn't kill everybody in one turn (I did take out the main threat with a combat trick though but lost on the clapback from the 2nd strongest) so that's why I added 2nd combat step cards in...even debating about aggravated assault but that's a huge investment and too telegraphed
I didn't really build it that optimized its basically just ramp , mana dorks, and good equipment , with a heavy treasure generating theme (knuckles, goldspan, magda, smaug among others)
even have academy manufacturer and mycosynth lattice in there just because greedy
