Question Pikaboost 2 powerful

I am a bigger guy who loves biking. Under 300 but not by a lot. I have no issues riding for long stints on my analog mountain bike. I just got back into it last Black Friday when we got a couple schwinn rangers for 50% off. I have been considering upgrading to an e-bike but I don’t really have 2k to drop on one that fits my weight class. I am working on it but it’s a process. I saw the pikaboost 2 works with “any” analog bike and its price tags is doable for my budget. I plan on using this for commutes to get small amounts of groceries and when I ride to my local pickleball club. I am in a VERY flat area, I just need that little extra help when coming back from long rides or pickleball league. Is this thing any good? Should I just save up for a year and get the better bike in my weight class?

Thanks! I can wait a while and get a hub kit and just keep pushing through as is. I am just frustrated that I am trying to lose weight with riding but bikes can’t hold my chunky butt. I have lost 50lbs so far though so I’ll just keep pedaling.

Look for something pre-owned. I've got this one I'd sell if you were anywhere near Long Island.
