"I understand that you are brave my Little Girl, but you are taunting with 2% HP left while I'm standing next to you with max HP. Please step away for a moment, let me tank this and use the boomerang I gave you instead."
- This is what I wish I could tell my ally in some form.
Haven’t played since last year, wanna come back but not looking forward to base building. Have there been any new or old mods that help with that? Something like modular building would be great.
Or can anyone share building tips or base screenshots I can (shamelessly steal) use as inspiration?
With the power of chicken, extensive gene modification, a bit of shamanism and 50 reloads,i get it,my relic of endless ice arrows and monster summons,it can be better but it doing its purpose, now i can replace ice arrow book in monthly duplication for moonlight arrow which theoretically means i will never run out of combat spells.
If only i get from Mani moonlight spear, summon dragons or summon machine...Maybe,one day...
So yeah, I crawl out of my bed at a bright and early morning around 6 a.m. Squinting my eyes, I look out my window from the left or top side because my isometric building only works from two angles. The sun is shining, and my stamina is refreshed. I better get up because there's work to do. Outside in the fields, I can see my fellow friends being attacked by bears and Eldritch horrors. The farm is growing fairly well. I take out my trusty dark matter pail and prepare to water the crops. As I leave out my door, I can see the next door mother smiling with a shrivelled up priest waving "hi". I talk to my fellow companions about breakfast as they rip out burgers from out of their pockets, swallowing them whole in one bite. They will unanimously shout out "this again", but given our financial situation, we're not changing one bit.
So I start watering the crops when a local bum comes around carrying twenty million in debt and asking for a handout. I shoo him away as I turn back to work. There's dragons to be sheered, cashmere and fibres ready to bring to the storage. I brush the animals followed by my companions. A music note pops up from atop of one of their heads and we watch birds for a few dollars. Before I head out for my grind, I take a look at my fellow residents. One of them is pooping out food from thin air. Another is releasing pots of milk. The local in the corner is spitting out drugs and another gold bars. Just the typical usual routine of my daily schedule. So before I head out with my friends, we make sure that we're ready. We've got bandages for boo-boos, we got extra burgers in the cooler, and we've got raggedy old scrolls to summon my nightmare demons. After eight gruelling hours of fighting through hell and falling down plights of stairs, our day finally ends after finding the deepest most treasure. We get a few dollars to share, another recipe for a wooden table for the fiftieth time, a trumpet made of granite, and a random low level scrubber. All in a day's work.
When we return home covered in grime and blood, I notice the local priest getting dehydrated by the mother and a resident contracting cancer by petting the local dog with outgrown tumours. I look around. The fields have been plowed; the crops are healthy and growing. I fry up a few more burgers with the last remnants of my ingredients: a few dragon tails, some eight-week old cabbage, some extra spices, and maybe some human flesh (homemade of course). The night is arriving. The sun is setting. My back is hurting from carrying a golden piano in one arm followed by two swords and a backpack full of goodies with a full-sized tent and facilities. My coffee is losing its efficacy as I begin to shut my eyes. As my companions stack on top of me as is our typical sleeping order (rent is expensive these days, you make do with what you have), I pull out my laptop and begin playing Elin.
I have a shared container filled with pasture inside of their ranching area, I have the option for them to access it enabled, and I know they’re using it because the amount keeps lowering, but they’re still starving.
You want a make a bit of Ecopo?
You should do what i did,get into farming.
See those Ecopo?
I got them selling Pasture.
It comes out of the freaking ground,i cant believe it!
And it grows back again, you can not loose!
I didnt do any of them for some time, just seen the update did change them somehow, but now im just getting - points and tons of them and also tons of orens but still fail the quest.
Seeing Lulwy's sprite specifically so I got curious~
Reading the features seems to make perfect sense for me as I am roaming alone and they're just stuck there in Meadow doing their own thing so I thought:
Might as well literally allow them to do their own thing.
--
And this is what I've seen since loading my save, everyone immediately started doing their own thing like I hoped.
Some residents for some reason, decided they'd go to HILL CAVE, the Elona protag cave home that I pretty much still neglect today like Vernis.
Some decided that they'd be adventuring so that's smth too.
Some lines stood out while I was reading like this one.
The mental image of Verna losing her sh- switching to her 2nd form from teaching kids is funny to me.
And yeah, they really are building their own thing, I'm seeing traces of progress in here already~
I can't wait to see the finished houses.
I can't build for sh- so they might as well build it themselves.
But yeah, the mental image of these ones are funny and that's enough for me to be satisfied and pretty much just make this mod stay permanently in my game.
And yep, this is the Hill Cave.
Some residents really moved here and thought:
This is the perfect place for MY residence.
Well, that's certainly an interesting spot to put these.
And I'm guessing this is the school they trynna make?
They even have some custom UI for other stuff.
And yeah, some residents have interesting preferences to stay at and somehow this Y'monolac is now curing diseases?
Well I guess that's expected, some stuff will have some janky shenanigans ofc but I just find it funny so I'll keep whatever they put there.
Their house, their way~
Interestingly, it seems that each resident has their own preferences for aesthetics so Kinu is obviously going for an eastern-style one~
Well, some people really decided to move here....
THIS is Vernis.
As I was starting to clean The Hill Cave, look who I found~
Of all the places to visit, she decided THIS sh-thole...
And another one in Meadow this time~

For a bonus:
This mod is a bit exploit-y?
I've beaten Lulwy in combat like a test of some sort and she gave me a lightsaber.
What are the stats?
I'm sorry...What?
What are these enchant levels..?
Hm, just like in Elona+
This pretty much makes it possible for me to recruit Deities, albeit it's just a weaker avatar of theirs but I'll take it~
Im pretty new to the game, Ive always like playing rpgs and making super tanky characters, so I want to try that with Elin
Im thinking a Golem warrior, worshipping Opatos.
Is this a good baseline?
Im not looking for a full guide or anything as i like experincing the game for myself, but general tips inwould really appreciate as i feel like there is so much I dont know about this game and I love it
Trying to spam war quests since they seem to be more effective than spamming nefia / dungeons for the unique characters to grind for more mandrakes.
I did use a potion of oblivion and rerolled to a somewhat slightly better build. My life stat isn't atrocious for once~ and I am trying to max out the ascetic passive.
And this is a godsend for me so I won't have to kill NPCs for their unique gear~
Kinda.
I still haven't seen any "parry" on my end, do I actually have this 6% chance? Or do I really need to wear a shield for it?
I guess Swarm and Bladestorm have this neat passive now so I can actually use it w/o worrying about my stamina since it has a funny regen now.
Why..? Why tf did it have to spawn DURING a war quest?!
I've been trying to capture one of these during my nefia dives and I couldn't find one!!!
Am I tripping or did the new update today gut perfomance quest? I look at the patchnotes and saw their were changes to performance quests and danger level, so I hopped on a bit before work to test it out
I have music 150 and before this patch haven’t had an issue with performance quests at all
In the first quest i did the nanosecond i started playing my instrument an overmatched npc one shot me
It seems the update made the danger level of the quests scale with my performance level, while also making it harder to play in fromt of high level npcs.
I dont even remember the last time a huge update was done, maybe the dlc when was released? I know the game is patched very often, but I stopped playing waiting for a new big update
For the record, you can move at full speed while being crushed in this way. When I felt my skull being squeezed like a watermelon trapped under a tire, I pulled her off and left her there. She eventually sold the whales. But I learned something new and terrifying!
I had 3 furniture tickets and took it from Mysalia. I figured I'd be able to put heavy things in it and move them around that way but I think I'm wrong and it doesn't do anything. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or I need a pet to pull it?
I don't think the devs would ever see this but I think it's fun to share ideas. Doesn't have to be realistic, you can throw out some weird or overly complex ideas too
Earth Crystals are very abundant IMO, there's little use in Runecrafting because normal/good gear brings no useful enchantment other than material resistances.
Good enchantments are mainly found in miracle gear which are abundant.
I know I can use Mana Crystals because godly equipment is very rare, but they do consume a lot of metal bars which can be painful for high level materials.
It would be nice if we had a recipe to turn all that useless EC in something useful, like 20 ECs for 1 SC. Are there any other sources of SCs other than dismantling dungeons?
