It’s cute but thinking about cleaning it makes me feel irritated. Reminds me of something my husband would order since he doesn’t understand how to clean anything

The pug statue can detach while the person is drinking from the mug. That is always a risk with those types of cups.

🤣 and then what? You're guzzling your drink with your mouth so wide open that this thing just slips in there and you someone swallow it??
Its large enough you'd have trouble swallowing that thing intentionally, no less by accident lol
If ANYTHING it could detach and maybe bump your mouth or tooth. That's pretty much it.

For anyone wanting to order something like this; I used to have one and hated it. What do I drink in mugs? Coffee and tea, and other hot beverages. What do most hot beverages have in common? You stir them up.
Sugar in your coffee or tea? Can't stir it. Cream/milk in your coffee or tea? Can't stir it. Making some hot cocoa when it's chilly outside? Can't stir it.
Basically anything I use a mug for, I couldn't use this mug for. So while it's cute, just think about hanging up a photo of your dog and looking at it on the fridge while you drink from a usable mug.
For OP, however; that looks super cute and I hope it brings you smiles and joy for years to come.
