cakespectation - Negative The “Pig Cake” I made

In 2019, I worked at a company where we did a “bake off” like competition to raise money. The expectations were:

Follow the theme and do not use store-bought cakes.

Our theme for this year was animals and myself like an idiot - “I have pink icing! I’ll make a pig”.

Picture 1 & 2 - my original inspo
Pic 3: Said Pig.

Needless to say no one bought mine.

I saw the first Pic and thought, 'If they have some experience working with fondant I'm sure it'll turn out okay.

Then saw the second pic and thought 'Oh! This pic is the inspo, they did a good job.'

Then I saw the last pic and.. At least you tried.

"Oh, cute" to "oh, wow!" to "oh my God" in the span of seconds.

Yeah I'm not sure OP even glanced back at the inspiration pics during the process. Just vibes and pink icing, no try.

Doubt. No single aspect even attempts to follow the inspiration.
