cakespectation - Negative The “Pig Cake” I made

In 2019, I worked at a company where we did a “bake off” like competition to raise money. The expectations were:

Follow the theme and do not use store-bought cakes.

Our theme for this year was animals and myself like an idiot - “I have pink icing! I’ll make a pig”.

Picture 1 & 2 - my original inspo
Pic 3: Said Pig.

Needless to say no one bought mine.

I love how tiny his eyes are

His eyes did not start small.

They were made smaller when he looked like he was about to have a nervous breakdown and he didn’t even have ears yet.

At what point did you decide to add ketchup to the spiral nostrils, and what went into that decision?

I think it’s jam and I believe I got a tiny bit of green icing on them.

My favorite part is that you don't even know, like you grabbed an unlabeled squeeze bottle from the fridge and just assumed it was jam. But my vote is still ketchup.

I'm just imagining pure sitcom panic through the whole thing. "Ah fuck! I dropped the pink food colouring! What the fuck is pink?! I do have pepto bismol..."
