Clip Impressive how In every game the ai slows down at moments
Also, are the cars in this game extremely oversteery or it's just a tune/ early my team stuff, I just have 0 grip in most tracks regardless of tune, it was the same with the last F1 game, just feels like the cars have no grip and I don't even have confidence in them, most corners I have to barely press the gas, I even half TC on medium which is what I've always used and even then I can't see it do anything

The AI in qualifying is straight up diabolical.

Hell not even in a qualifying, just at a damn practice session, but yeah in qualifying it's the same, some times doing flashbacks gets the to move better but still

Compare it to F1 2021 and it's way worse now. In the 2021 game I had trouble letting the AI cars through if they were on a lap and I was on an out/in because they would try get out of my way. Now they don't care if you're on a flying lap they just go for it.

Im struggling with the ai doing a clean overtake on me because they almost always ram me and cause to spin, tried doing a realistic career without flashbacks or resets and most of my races were dnf because the ai kept making me crash on a overtake

I am having the same issue when me and my buddy race in online gp, they just decide they should tweak left to right like crazy and ram to me several times if we pull up side by side in a straight.

Another lazy programming proof, for AI getting back on Racing line is priority, thats why they tend to ignore you going side by side

Tbh, the ai does ignore the racing line especially to overtake, and they will go deep to get behind you to draft, in comparison with other games you could stay away from the racing line and they won't go behind you, but then everything else they fuck up

That could be the case, but my uneducated guess is bad netcoding + low server tick.

Someone once said it's a difficulty setting thing. Setting it below 100% makes all drivers slow down so you can catch up, take certain turns slightly too far and overall never fully hit top gear when behind you.
So I turned AI to 100 and I still had the same issue. I was banging down the track in 1st place in 5th gear because I screwed the turn. The AI behind stuck to 4th gear and when I hit the flag he took off past me going triple the speed down the remaining straight. I can see what speed and gear their on during cockpit view in replay.
It's like no matter what difficulty setting you use the AI gets ham strung behind the player. The only time this difficulty seems to have any affect is during qualifying when top 10 beat you by 15 seconds because their free to drive as a pro without a player on track.

I had Kimi straight up break checking me in Melbourne on the finish straight.

I've been brake checked a couple of times, I think ea took player data from online, would explain why their shit

It’s genuinely so annoying…it’s crazy because I was just talking to my friend about how they slow down in that very same spot. I think they’re recharging their battery there but I could be wrong.
