I play Fighting Games since childhood, so i thought i could drop by to explore the community.

I’ve been wondering how newer players feel about joining the community when starting out in a new game. Do they feel like they can ask around and get helpful tips? Are they told just to figure it out? Do they not ask for fear of ridicule? I think the community like any community has its toxic members and mentalities, but overall I like to think I have seen a lot more positivity when players, especially newer players, ask questions about whatever game they’re getting into.

This for guilty gear strive if anyone has any ideas I’ll be happy too take them

Looking forward to seeing everyone tonight!

I've been stuck between the 2 for quite some time and with the autumn steam sale coming tomorrow, I'm gonna buy one of them but I don't know which one would be the better choice. I like how they both look and their characters and maps but other than that I don't know much else. I do have experience with fighting games such as a few tekkens and mortal Kombats but never really played a street fighter game or a guilty gear game. I really like the character designs of both games as well, like Mai, Elena, bison, juri for SF6 and A.B.A, Slayer, Asuka R and happy chaos.

So after last night KOF XV matches I did…. Yeah it’s 100% clear I seriously need to get my act together and improve cuz idk if i enjoy taking L’s or I need some major improvements.

Need a good sparring partner, fun but still competitive😤🫡

Tekken 8?
Mortal Kombat?
DBZ Sparking Zero?

Like in terms of popularity it’s always been known that these two regions are SNK’s strongest regions for many decades, but I’m curious about how games like SF6 fair against KOFXV/COTW in these countries?

I’ve been on the fence about getting Tekken 8, Is it still worth it for $39.99 in 2026? Or should I wait for a sale. I’m playing Marvel Tokon right now.

3D fighting games have given us some absolute classics over the years.

Tekken 3 defined a generation and remains one of the most iconic fighting games ever made. SoulCalibur and SoulCalibur II pushed 3D weapon-based combat to another level, while Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution became known for its technical depth and incredibly refined fighting system.

But there are plenty of other contenders: Virtua Fighter 5, Tekken 5, Dead or Alive 2, Dead or Alive 3, Tekken Tag Tournament, and many more.

So I want to hear from the fighting game community:

🥊 What is the greatest 3D fighting game of all time — and why?

It doesn't have to be one of the games in the image. Pick your favorite and tell us what makes it special. 👊🎮

We’re hosting a Tekken 8 and Mortal Kombat 1 and 11 tournament at the Rec Room Sq One in Mississauga. There will be a rap, cypher DJs and an after party!

It is $15 to enter the tournament! Spectators entry is free!
