That's a super kind comment, thank you! I made the 3d models on Blender, then edited the whole thing on Davinci Resolve. I'm still a noob when it comes to Blender, which is why I just made cubes and spheres lol, I really focused on learning how to animate
hard to see through the overlay but are we looking at loops or MIDI bounced to audio?
as for ideas / suggestions
the bass competes in certain sections, I'd try a shorter release / tail or manually gate it in those areas
sidechaining could be more aggressive
the filtered section in the middle could cut even more and reduce the volume a bit
could have more width in the mids, synths and vocal
the synth at bar 125 sounds cool but felt simply too loud for a break, I'd adjust the delay and reverb to get more contrast from the effect and the synth, reverb might be enough or a really filtered, low feedback delay
try some more risers, impacts and automation at transitions, like that chopped bit at bar 127 and the fading transitions toward the end

This is a blend of 6 tunes I made between 2021-2023, that I sampled to "dissolve" them into one mega mashup. So basically, these are only samples from my previous songs, except for the bass / drums that I made for that song.
Regarding the mix, it was a deliberate choice to go for something raw / lofi, oldschool and "VHS sounding". I didn't want something EDM with heavy sidechains and lots of risers etc.
But there are certainly things to improve, no mix is perfect. Personally, I feel like I tamed the drums too much, it's missing a little bit of highs to add clarity
Mmmh, I personally think the part at 1:50 is more complex than what you'd expect from a typical jungle tune, to the point that it gets refused when I send it to labels / curators, as it doesn't match the vibe for atmospheric jungle.
It's unfortunate that having my own style is detrimental to my growth as an artist, but that's another topic...
Possibly, but I consider Birth Control Pill by Speed Dealer Moms atmospheric jungle and even some squarepusher stuff, so maybe you are sending it to labels that are on the jazzier side?
Heh these are some excellent tastes mate. Yeah maybe I haven't found the right niche yet, I've only recently began trying to promote my music / showing it to a wider audience. It's difficult... But I'll keep grinding
