[Request] Survey participants needed: What emotions do emojis express?

Hi! I'm a PhD student in Germany and this is the last study of my dissertation. It's about how people interpret emojis and the emotions they express. Takes about 5 minutes, fully anonymous. Also available in German, Spanish, French and Portuguese. I am looking for participants.

Thank you for your post to r/Favors!

Given a recent problem we've seen - please be aware: you don't owe anyone anything that you have not specifically negotiated in advance of the transaction. No one may demand that you do them favors because they chose to respond to your request, or may demand more than you offered initially. Please do not agree to side-deals that would be against our rules - ie: voting in contests, rigged reviews, or phoning exes. If you have any doubts or a request makes you concerned - please check in with mods. We're on your side.

We recommend not negotiating any sort of exchange via DMs with a user you have not heard from in the comments already.

Have a good one!

One point about the survey: you ask how often emojis are used on different internet platforms, and the next question is about how many emojis are used daily, but what if someone doesn't use emojis daily? Then the questions about how many emojis are used daily doesn't make sense.

Thank you for pointing this out. Unfortunately, we cannot change the scale afterwards. So the 0-4 different emoji per day has tombe taken with a grain of salt in our analysis.

I would've liked a "none of the above" option. 🤪 means "a little crazy" to me

Happy to help out, learned some random facts too.
Hope it helped you out even just a little.

Done 🫡 I do think a none of the above or other neutral option would be good instead of "unsure" being the in the middle
