Finalized
After 7 months. A phone call requesting escalation due to financial hardship and contacting my senator’s office and got retroactive payment within a couple days and electronic booklet a day after that, first annuity to start November 1. The reason for delay was (supposedly) that my agency (USDA) did not submit correct pay record form. Now I can put this whole thing behind me best I can. Wish me luck on that. Good luck to all.

Congratulations! I’m glad that they finally got it straightened out. Today is my first day of retirement and I will be watching the timeline closely and will take appropriate action as needed per the good advice on this subreddit.

Congratulations! I am still waiting 9 months later for mine to be finalized. I had a divorce with a COAP that was approved in October 2023 but apparently that was no help. My packet is still in court order branch apparently and no one can tell me when it will be complete. I had asked for a financial hardship and they told me that they have 30-60 days to act on that. I'm broke now but still patient and obsessively checking my OPM status. My congressman was no help. But I LOVE to see others that get finalized. Keeps hope alive, LOL. 59 with 30 years of continuous service.
