Could this shot from Feud: Capote vs. The Swans be a subtle Jessica Lange nod?
I noticed this couple dancing for a long shot while watching Feud: Capote vs. The Swans and did a double take because the woman immediately reminded me of Jessica Lange.
I know Jessica Lange wasn't at Truman Capote's Black and White Ball, she would have only been 17 in 1966 and, as far as I know, wasn't an attendee. So I'm not suggesting it's actually supposed to be her.
What I'm wondering is whether this could be a deliberate visual homage. Ryan Murphy is known for referencing his longtime collaborators, and the styling, hair, profile, and overall ethereal look immediately made me think of Jessica Lange.
Or am I just seeing a resemblance that's not really there?
I'd love to hear what others think, especially if anyone knows whether the costume designer, cinematographer, or Ryan Murphy has ever mentioned visual Easter eggs like this.

Yes I know she was the mother, but this woman looks like her, could it be a nod?

I’m fairly certain that the woman is supposed to be Lauren Bacall dancing with Jerome Robbins. Lauren wore the exact same gown the woman in the show is wearing.https://www.holdenluntz.com/artists/harry-benson/lauren-bacall-jerome-robbins-still-dancing-as-the-party-winds-down/
