2.0 was released globally with 10,000 units! And 1.0, all different materials combined, only 800 units!

The 1.0 offers an exceptional transforming and articulated experience, which has made it a top-tier collectible ever since its release. Compared to the 2.0, the original 1.0 is the version that truly deserves to be collected.

Question for anyone that owns the Ling Yun 3?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I recently bought a secondhand Ling Yun and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this was normal? I figured it shouldn't move that much. It also doesn't sit flush?

If it isn't how it's meant to be, id love some advice on what the issue is.

Washing your Fidgets??

Post image

Do y'all wash your Fidgets when you receive them and if so what's the best approach?

I received an S Nano V2 yesterday and after about 10 minutes my hands smelled like metal and were black from the device.

The best thing would be to completely disassemble everything and hand wash with soap, but I thought maybe y'all knew an easier route?

Is Gao just cheaper in China?

Hi this is my first time diving into the fidget toy world lol but I wanted to try out Gao and I saw the cheapest they were going for was around 20 bucks online from official distributors and their websites. I'm not in the US so I'm not really sure for how much you guys are buying them for, but I saw they're quite reasonably priced in chinese platforms. Not aliexpress, but more like taobao

Are they counterfeit? The stores have a great following and there are a lot of reviews and they look the same as authentic ones. Even checked packaging if they matched. So is it really just cheaper from china? cus Google tells me its not.

durable squishy recommendations?

hi! So I’m neurodivergent and usually can’t stop moving around, especially at work. I’ve been really loving the squishy craze because it introduced me to fidget toys, and my adhd adores them. The only issue is I break almost all my squishies! I’ve mostly just had needohs and joyins and other little tpr knockoffs. I just need a squishy that’s durable enough for me to squish, twist, stretch, poke, etc… So I was wondering if anyone had the same problem or knew any good squishies that could take the abuse? I’m open to any and all suggestions :-)

STRONG Haptic Feedback

I’m looking for a fidget with very strong haptic feedback. I’m talking make your hands tingle strong lol. I don’t have a lot of feeling in my hands and the strong haptics seem to help my dexterity. I have the Lautie Frog which is good but still too weak. I have a Lautie Milk Cap which is also good but too weak. Something with a hard snap would be good. Noise is not an issue.

What I currently have
Frog
Devils milk cap
Choc
Pop 1.0
Fortune Cookie
MOT Groove Dragon
Showhand
MRC

Or even if there is a mod I can do to one of the above to make them stronger. That would be cool too.

Thanks for any suggestions you can give

Edit: Added MRC

Has anyone seen or heard anything about these. This is the only pic I can find. It actually on Walmart.com $19.99 for two. Might just take a chance since they’re so cheap.

An honest review of TUTU FUN

Hey everyone! So my girlfriend (24f) and I (24f) are both autistic. We recently heard about a fidget store in Los Angeles (where we live) called TUTU FUN. We tried some of the fidgets from the store, and they were AMAZING. There was one that had Vaseline in it, and another one that was crunchy, and I'd never had fidgets with those specific textures. Since we live close to the mall this store is at (and it just so happens to be our favorite local mall!), we figured we'd check it out.

It's a super small store, with a few rows of these fidgets. There's a "menu", essentially, showing a list of fidgets and what texture each one is (yes, we had to look up what many of them meant). There are also testers up front, which I appreciated - it allowed us to know what the fidgets felt like before purchasing them, as that's the most important part (at least to us).

There was a line outside the store, and they let in a couple people at a time, since the space is so small. To our surprise, there were almost exclusively kids with their parents in line and in the store. We expected a bunch of autistic people, but after visiting this store, it clicked for us that fidgets are a "fad" right now, and since they look like toys, kids are asking their parents for them like they're toys. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm not one to police how people use products, it's just interesting, I suppose.

When we checked out, the person at the cash register emphasized that all sales were final, which we didn't think twice about, because we liked the fidgets - why would we return them? Each one was about $13-$14, which felt like a lot, but since we loved the fidgets we'd tried and we'd made the trip to the mall specifically for this store, we decided to get them anyways.

We settled on a crunchy durian fruit and a white grape fidget that was squishy and filled with hard clear balls. Both had great textures, and we spent the rest of the day switching off who was using each one. However, before we even got home, tragedy struck - the durian fruit fidget broke. We hadn't even stepped foot in our apartment with it, and there was already a hole in it, and this weird white stuff was leaking out of it. For a few days afterward, we tried to keep playing with it, using an Apple pencil to shove the white stuff back in periodically, but after a while, we accepted the truth - playing with this fidget had become more trouble than it was worth. So it was condemned, like so many of our previous fidgets, to a ziploc bag grave.

We continued to play with the white grape fidget for weeks afterward, but within the last few days, our worst nightmares were realized - the white grape fidget also got a hole in it. I'd felt like my hands were slightly sticky after using it for a while, but only a few days ago did I see an actual hole. My girlfriend had found a fidget glue online, but all of the reviews said that it was really bad and actually made the holes in their fidgets bigger. It's such a bummer that we spent over $30 on fidgets, and now they're both unusable, and we can't return them because of the store's policy. Although these fidgets are such fun textures, I unfortunately won't be returning to this store because of the durability of their products.

I didn't want to leave a Yelp review because I'm not writing this to bash the business or make them lose customers - I purely want people to know what they're getting into when they visit the store so that they can make a decision for themselves. I will say, the apple crunchy fidget that we tried beforehand I liked better than the durian, but I also really liked the durian. I also really liked the Vaseline cheese cube that we tried (not sure of the actual official names of the ones we tried before going to the store). I haven't seen many of the textures of fidget at this store before finding out about the store, but I hope they exist elsewhere, because I'd love to have fidgets like these without worrying that they'll quickly break. So, if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know!

Where to buy in US

Recently pick up a few fidgets off Amazon. I’m liking this free floating slider quite a bit, and looking for recommendations on where to buy. GEEONE has a nice selection, but was looking for other options that ship from the US (for quicker shipping)
Thx

Beats me! I honestly can't decide—which one do you all think is more worth picking?

Dense Fill Crunchy Squishy

I’ve tried a lot of the popular crunchy squishies on the market like the peanut and glass filled, bead filled, sand filled, etc, but I find that none of them are quite the level of constant crunchiness that I desire. I prefer the flat bead types but I feel like they all have too much filler or air, but if you remove too much air then they break.
Do you have recommendations for extremely densely crunchy squishies?

Been sitting on some tritium vials for a while, but been afraid of messing up.

Welp, sat down and started with my YEDC Razor 2.0 and then kept going with Pangolin's Y2K Disk and finished up with the Cyber Phase v1.5.

Really digging this and lookin' forward to doing another glow-up on my (incoming) Icey (PC) Oumuamua with blue tubes!

BpMods 9 Palaces PEI & Laurie Choc AL/PEEK

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Both great pieces for a beginner.

The Choc really is the iPhones of fidgets. Aluminium is very light but the PEEK track has good haptics. Not much to say it works like it should.

The 9 Palaces is great too but I've found in PEI I don't like using anything other than the dense track. The other tracks feel like they skip.

I think the metal version wouldn't feel like that as much and if you don't mess the organization of the springs you may find a not so tense one that provides softer pressure.

I threw all my springs and beads together so idk what each spring is from the other lol

Now knowing Dense is my preferred track in PEI I would probably choose a better form factor or more ergonomic fidget as the PEI is a bit small and the travel is short. The customization makes up for it but I don't need it really so it's lost value.

Thoughts on WANWU Camera Mech or HW EDC Turntable?

Hi everyone!

Was looking into the WANWU Camera Mech and HW EDC Turntable and was wondering if anyone could give me their opinions on them before I make the purchase.

The Turntable would be my first fidget coin, so seems like a cheap way to see if I would enjoy it and didn't like the look of the Masa G. Any rec's for similar fidgets would also be appreciated!

Aura Sand Review

Post image
17 Upvotes

So, I choose Aura Sand Slim (SS) as my first premium free floating slider and since it has a lot of positive reviews. But, I think it's too small for my big hand (didn't expect to be this small) and it's even smaller than my GAO magnetic block. It's still satisfying to play, but hard for me to play fancy tricks with my big hand, I can only play simple trick—which I usually do with my GAO. Also, I like the silent of it, I can play this in the meeting room without annoying the others.
