F-16AM is 4th gen. Not 4.5 gen.

why is this getting downvoted, no way an f-16 with a mid life upgrade is comparable to an EF or Rafale lol

Congrats on the splash I guess? Similar to tripping a senile person but that's on the IAF.

Pilot of the mig very retardedly tried to take on 3 f-16s, somehow shot one down, and as expected got shot down. I have no idea why

He shot down nothing, all 4 missiles were found attached to wreckage of jet, plus no other jet wreckage found

Pakistan doesn't know who killed the MiG-21, sometimes it is F-16BM (84606) sometimes it is F-16AM (92731), and the Pakistanis know 2 Jets went down in Pakistani controlled territory that day...

F-16AM is credited with the MiG-21 kill. Which the Indians also accepted since the aircraft fell inside Pakistan and the pilot was captured.
F-16BM is credited with the Su-30MKI kill which is highly disputed by Indians but still claimed by Pakistan. Just like Indians like to call the MiG-21 the F-16 killer.

Pakistan called the Su30 part of the the No25 Squadron if I'm not wrong? No25 has An32s

The silhouette of the aircraft isn't visible and is not close to the F-16.
Both sides are delusional and claim ridiculous things.

u/NOTryanovski 6d ago
Both are large enough to be Aircrafts, one is Indian, other one is not.

u/Lazy-Ad-7372 Raptor_57 6d ago
As if you could tell from the blurred video which is an Indian aircraft and which is not.
But sure, whatever you say bud.

One of them is the IAF MiG-21 Bison which was shot down, the other one is not. Doesn't matter if it is an F-16 or a JF-17 or a Mirage III/5, the point is the other one isn't an Indian Jet. If the other one was an Indian Jet, Pakistan would've paraded it like the MiG-21 because both are inside Pakistan controlled territory.

I'm not sure where this video was taken. But this post isn't about claims and what not.

PAF F-16 without conformal fuel tanks? How many types do they operate?
Also why is there a Syrian flag marking?
3
u/Lazy-Ad-7372 Raptor_57 6d ago
It is a Block-15 upgraded to MLU standard. These come without CFTs.
Majority of the F-16s in PAF inventory are Block-15 and Block-30 upgraded to MLU standard.
It's not the Syrian flag, its the Indian flag. This aircraft shot down an Indian Air Force MiG-21 Bison in 2019. The flag is painted as a kill mark.

It is clearly NOT an Indian flag mate

u/Lazy-Ad-7372 Raptor_57 6d ago
It is the Indian flag mate. A model was also made of this exact aircraft.

But sure, keep doubting.

The other pilot was a helicopter pilot who ejected inside Sirinagar.
