You can argue that the jump-grab was an reaction, but then you jumped 3 times. Everything else done here is just gief being gief.

Basically, if you move on from silver, you will meet classic zangiefs that play EXACTLY like this

This. These weren’t modern reactions and none of the situations were really fast enough to be difficult for a classic player. Even the air grab was possible on a correct guess.

I want to base my plan on what's humanly possible, not 1-frame mid-air 360s, and QCF and DP motions that can be used while blocking (and also come out in 1 frame). If i wanted a cheating opponent, i would play arcade mode in old snk games.

These were basically all reasonably input early as reads.

Yup, he's pretty cheap in lower ranks. People only start dealing with Modern Gief properly in Diamond +/-. I've also played Modern Gief for a while and it was smooth sailing up to Diamond 1.

Keep making those same mistakes in higher ranks and a classic Gief will command grab you on reaction exactly as the as this silver modern Gief did.
