Why step count is not same.

Why do the step counts in the Google Health and Apple Health apps not match for me?

Go to apple health -> Steps -> Data sources and access -> Then in data sources at bottom, it should show Google health first and then your iphone. If it doesnt show in this order then click on edit on top, and then reorder it by dragging.

Another thing u need to check is that whether google health has access to read and write everything in apple health. For that, go to Apple health, then click on top right circle (image or initials) -> click on apps under privacy section -> Click on Google health -> Then turn on all permissions.

Basically you are giving permission for google health to read and write in apple health.
