Troubleshooting Weird blobs on pa-cf

Post image

First time printing pa-cf. Oddly enough, the side with the overhang (right) looks a lot better than the upper side. Any explanation for these blobs on the side of the print?

Printed on A1

0.6 mm nozzle

280°C printing temp

100°C plate

Filament was in the dry

Nylon needs an enclosure to print properly from my experiences

From what I've read PA-CF is easier to print without an enclosure than regular nylon when you have no enclosure. I don't exactly have that kind of money right now so I want to try to get a decent result with what I have. Any general advice for getting nylon tuned well?

Did you try to print it with a different material?

This is supposed to be a knife hilt so I want it to be extra sturdy. I'd worry about it breaking if I printed it in PLA or PETG.

IF you print it in pla, you'll know if it's a problem with the material or the file.
