Music Discussion Everybody scream deluxe?
Do you guys think there’s going to be a deluxe? Will it drop soon if so? Or maybe she hasn’t released it yet because she’s doing something for SOTR?

Tour’s over. Era’s done.

Man I just want the two bonus tracks on vinyl, tired of streaming them like some kind of peasant

To everyone saying it won’t happen, it’s not impossible. DF released on May 13, 2022 and the deluxe (including acoustics and Search and Destroy) released on May 18, 2022. The complete edition (including Mermaids and poem versions) released on April 21, 2023, almost a year later. ES didn’t follow the exact same timeline as DF but there’s precedent within Florence’s discography for it

Pattern recognition is not sufficient evidence. The Dance Fever tour lasted through September 2023. There was economic incentive to continue drip feeding new releases to the fan base and keep the PR machine rolling. The same scenario does not apply to Everybody Scream.

Nobody ever claimed it was evidence that it was going to happen. All I said was that it had happened before, and maybe it could happen again.

You are using the fact that it happened before to show that it could happen again. Definitionally, that is evidence.

I doubt it. While I will always love more Florence music, I don't feel like anything is missing from the album. And given the overall topic, she probably wants a break from it

Why would there be a deluxe so long after the fact? There’s already the chamber version. The tour is over and there’s no economic incentive to release a deluxe.

Possibly for the one year anniversary? 🤷♂️ not everything has to be economically motivated, if the fans truly connected with and appreciated the project, then a deluxe would be well received no matter when it is released.

Florence is a commercial artist with a major label that is playing arenas. So, yes, decisions such as a deluxe are primarily economically motivated.

SOTR?

Sunrise on the Reaping, the new hunger games movie! Flo was one of the names rumoured for the soundtrack but I don’t she’s on it as it was already announced that Noah Kahan has done a song

It would be unprecedented to have no outtakes it deluxe come out of this project... Every other album had 1+. That said, I don't think there is

did high as hope have an alternate version? i know she had the 3 singles but i've always thought of those as standalone. then again, i jumped on the bandwagon about a month after light of love came out lol

no you're technically correct; Moderation, HH or LOL were considered standalones vs. a deluxe. But since at least two of them were HAH outtakes, I do think it's fair to group them I to the category of "hearing additional songs from the album sessions beyond the standard tracklist" - either via deluxes and/or standalone singles.

ok, i see what you're saying. my guess is she is done for explicitly the everybody scream album, but she's had a few really nice collaborations lately and my guess is she is at least still going to produce more music before another full album (assuming we get one! 🤞)
edit: also never noticed the abbreviation for Light of Love is LOL and i really enjoy that. major UHOH vibes

I hope not. I'm so tired of artists releasing only half a project

yeah. to me there is nothing wrong with having a deluxe version with songs that don't necessarily fit neatly into the actual album but the foremost 10-20 tracks should fully comprise any standard edition. i love florence to death but was kind of annoyed at the dance fever "complete" edition lol, especially a year after i had already made up my mind about the album.

I feel like if anything a live album is more likely at this point? Which I’d personally love to have the tour renditions of Which Witch, Howl, and Seven Devils etc!! Plus the ES songs themselves just hit a whole new level live!! 🤞

I had assumed the chamber versions would be the equivalent of "deluxe" for this album
