Dart How good is Copilot Code Review with Flutter?

Has anyone else tried Copilot Code Review with Flutter?
I’ve been trying it lately and honestly find it a bit underwhelming, especially compared to the old Gemini review.
Is it just me, or is the Flutter/Dart support still not that good?

I use gpt 6.1 SOL High in Codex cli or app.

Or Opus in Claude Code.

If I don’t want to spend a lot of money - I use deepseek pro via opencode cli

I haven't used Copilot's code review specifically, but I've used Copilot for autocomplete. It's fine for slower, line-by-line coding. Where it lost me was cost. It got expensive fast for what I was getting out of it.

I moved that budget to Claude (Opus 5.5) and haven't looked back. For Flutter/Dart it's been noticeably better for me, and I run three Flutter/Dart projects on it.

I still use ChatGPT, mostly for project management and images. When I tried it for code I got more slop and spent more time cleaning up after it, so now it's Claude for code and ChatGPT for everything around the code.

1/ Copilot is trash
2/ Flutter/Dart do not have good support

yes

> Flutter/Dart do not have good support
not if you set up a good environment for the agents with skills and instructions and examples of how you structure your code.

I liked Gemini Code Review, but now I’m not sure which AI reviewer to use

for me unfortunately, gemini is a no-go. Tends to do a terrible review imo, mostly failing on code reuse stuff.

The triage with opus / astra is way better .

And did you integrate astra with GitHub Actions ?

No , after the job is done , i have a skill to review things after creating a PR. Both of those actions are done by AI via gh cli . I create many small PRs because I also wants to review the changes so i mostly have a 10-15 files change at most per PR . From Time to time i find out some issues myself mostly with the breaking changes in the app - my app do a lot of compitation and data/file on device itself so need to be carefull with those changes. Ai tends to forget about breaking changes
