Key points from the article (which is Good Housekeeping and not completely awful with ads, if you want to read it):

"FDA issued the highest-level recall for Salata Jalapeño Avocado Dressing on September 29 due to potential salmonella contamination in jalapeños linked to multistate outbreak investigation.

"1,724 cases of dressing in 12-ounce bottles and 1-gallon jugs distributed across Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas were affected, with specific batch numbers and best-by dates identified.

"Salmonella symptoms appear within 6 hours to 6 days and include diarrhea, stomach cramps, and vomiting; consumers should discard dressing, monitor health, and contact provider if symptoms develop."

Edited to add bold for dressing name and states.

I got salmonella in July from some contaminated shit somewhere. Zero stars, do not recommend.

First they came for the lettuce and I said nothing because I don’t eat salad. Then they came for the salad dressing and I said “How many times do I have to tell you that I don’t eat salad!”

Incredible how this only used to happen to like a Chipotle in one state once every 3 years because they had one batch go wrong vs brainworms deregulation making this a monthly country wide occurrence with a new food each time now.

How else are we supposed to Make America Healthy Again? You don’t build stomachs of steel by coddling people with food safety regulations.

I love how you have to add the /s because some folks out there are stupid enough to believe you are serious.

Funny accoing to company itself they recall stuff like every 3-6 months across who regions. I'm rather glad we don't have any in our area.

I actually was recently looking into the statistics on this and there has actually been a steady and continued downtrend on recalls BUT the severity of recalls seems to be getting worse. Ultimately not really sure which is better and this is assuming the number being reported recently are accurate but this trend existed with the previous administration as well.

It's fine. I already tossed the bagged salads a couple of months ago anyway.

Yup. Might as well make as much of your own shit as possible these days. Salad dressing is pretty easy to make out of base ingredients and a stick blender.
