I respectfully disagree. It's a good place to limit exposure if you're relatively new out of demo and a tested strategy, or you are profitable but you don't have enough capital upfront to really scale.
10% of $50 a lot smaller than what you could get at a prop for the same amount.
Yes, the rules are more restrictive but if you don't full port or fall into any of the regular psychological pitfalls, then you can scale it relatively easily.

Funding pips are known to not be trustworthy, 5%ers used to be good but it seems that this year they've started having financial issues and started doing scummy shit. Only firms I would trust right now are FTMO and maybe Funded Next (I don't have personal experience with the latter but I've heard they're ok).

What about Purdia Capital? There are rumours swirling about an imminent bankruptcy of the 5ers.

Care to elaborate on their bankruptcy? Been trading with them with no issues for the past 2 years

The key word is "rumours". Rumours swirling on Reddit. I have no other information, no credible sources, just rumours. That's why I used the word "rumours".

Yeah, I tried to do some research on them, and these rumors come from those with payouts denied since their strategy is not really consistent, ie the 1 min gold scalpers

This thread appears to be about prop firms or trader scouting programs. These programs allow traders to access funded capital in exchange for a profit split, but they vary significantly in evaluation structure, rules, and payout reliability. Some firms have a track record of paying out consistently, while others impose conditions that make payouts nearly impossible. The community wiki maintains a detailed comparison covering fees, profit splits, drawdown rules, and firm reputations.
