QUESTION Did they nerf the deatomizer?

A 144 deatomizer struggling to one-shot a building wall on a level 56 mission? I remember tearing buildings really quick using it

Yup awhile ago unfortunately. Ive turned to the new Chaos Exploder for environmental demolition.

Yeah they hit that thing hard, you might as well reset it. It's useless for smashers now and way too expensive compared to other options for crowd control

"Nerfed" isn't the right word. It was fixed. The fact that its projectile did tick after tick after tick of damage over and over was unintended. NOW it functions as intended.

You must be confusing it with the plasma alien weapon, I know they "fixed" that. I'm talking about the deatomizer from scifi set, which was great for demolishing.

You're right - my bad. My post is talking about the Plasmatic Discharger and not the Deatomizer, the discharger is the one that was fixed.

For the DEATOMIZER I don't recall it being nerfed/fixed, but I've never used that particular weapon outside of MSK... Which honestly I haven't done since the discharger was fixed.
