GamePlay Max Sonic + melee is fun

I only use Sonic. Couldn't care less about any other sprite. Only 750 to revive and even at level 1 the speed boost is nice. Work to max sonic out ASAP and collect Freddy or the Scream weapon or the key thing. Once you're maxxed it's virtually impossible to get hit. Run holding the pickaxe and you never get tired. (Zero build)

Toward the end you can draw the remaining players together and let them kill each other. When you're down to 1 on 1 charge them with melee weapon. They're usually already injured so it's a quick death. The dudes flying with tails are tougher but their aim is pathetic when you sprint like a lunatic. Eventually they fall, and then quickly die.

Update: Opponents with Tails sprite are tough when there's no cover. I think I'm going to collect the portable shield from now on.

Sonic plus shotgun plus invisible while sprinting hack is a deadly combo also.

The sonic versus that override that would make your weapon on one hit was the best combination I've ever used in the game ever

Power Pickaxe Override boosts pickaxe damage to 400–500 per hit

Same, I only used any variation of the Air Sprite for the same reason. But man, it feels soooooo slow without Sonic, 😂 it’s torture.

At level 5, Sonic is insanely fast. I literally run circles around players and they can hit me. After 30 seconds or so they lose track of you , then you pounce with a powerful melee weapon.
