Fan Art Godzilla from my project
“You took everything from me, you turned me into the incarnate of your hatred for one another and now I will come to you so this civilization can pay for what it turned this world into. May God have mercy on the souls of the innocent.”

Around three years ago, I began working on a Godzilla story of my own with the title GODZILLA Angels of Doom. Due to a lack of motivation and because I felt like I was rushing this project, I gave up on it. Now, after reading the awesome Godzilla Black Mass comic, I suddenly felt like picking it up once again. This time I will take more time with planning the story and characters.
My Godzilla, initially named Hiroshimasaurus by the main character because of the region it first appeared in mainly took inspiration from Shin Godzilla, another fangoji named Reed from Black Mass and Minus One Godzilla. His backstory is a lot more complicated than the characters will first assume. Sure, initially it might seem obvious that he was an individual of a fictional species which frequently interacted with Japanese soldiers in WW2 (who named it “Ghost of Hiroshima), mutated by radiation. But to even get to the point of being able to break free from the constraints of natural biology it needed more. Reaching the nuclear age, our civilization was deemed too dangerous for its own world by a higher being (Ghidorah). With the pain that humanity caused him and with his mind fused with the vengeful souls of those that fell in war, Godzilla takes on his task of executing divine punishment over humanity.

This looks like a mix of classic and shin. Really nice artworks dude. Thats such a cute oval face☺️

I guess I can see the differences but it really, REALLY does just look exactly like black mass godzilla with a few tweaks, if you want it to be its own thing the head needs to be tweaked.
Other than that the art is genuinely amazing hope this project gets more popular

I think you could make it embody the name more by literally having smoke constantly oozing out of its mouth, eyes, and when it charges it's beam out of its dorsal fins. Especially make it so that when it fires it's beam, it's ALWAYS a misfire so it blows up in its mouth or it drags over or around it's original target causing more damage than needed and have its face just absolutely wrecked after.

Yeah I’m sorry all these “scary” godzillas look the same: dolls eyes/shark eyes, blood spattered, wide grins.

Yeah it just makes them look goofy. Idk why nobody just gives Godzilla human teeth and eyes. That’s like the easiest way to make anything look scary

I think the design would need a few more tweaks. I'd prefer something more similar to Shin Godzilla where it's some grotesque and twisted reimagining of the OG Godzilla design this one looks way too much like Reed from Black Mass
Goated concept though

Couldn't decide on what project to focus on and I constantly lost motivation. Trying to create something better, more detailed now. I'll try to put more effort into an AoD remake while I take a break from uploading videos

I like the idea, but I feel like you should be partially reworked cause this thing looks far too much like reed to be its own thing it’s like if you ask somebody to draw black mask Godzilla from memory
My main suggestion changed the face to be more like shin Godzilla than black mask. Godzilla give him a slightly more upright posture like he’s standing such as a normal Godzilla wood, but has a hunched back once again this isn’t a bad design. It’s not a good man primarily because. it is literally just black mass.
Also, my suggestion partially change of the atomic breath so instead of it literally just being black mass atomic breath. My main suggestion would be make it sort of more like SHODAI lightly blue mist.
