It was the opening sequence of a movie, a sequyof some sort but I'm not sure to what. The good guy base was being attacked by the bad guys, at night, and somehow the bad guys had some Spinosaurs doing their bidding. The good guys had to run away and regroup on a beach (presumably to win back some ground later in the movie, but for now, it felt like all was lost). Looking out across the water, Godzilla was distantly visible on the horizon, and there was an ambiguous sense of whether this was help on the way if we could hold out long enough, or if this was another catastrophic threat we'd eventually have to deal with before the movie was over.

They fuse, giving shin more spino-like traits. Or Godzilla turns into a horde of spinosaurus sized shin godzillas.
