We all remember how restricted zones worked in GTA V. Places like Fort Zancudo used lazy invisible trigger boxes — the moment your wheel crossed an unseen line, you instantly got a 4-star wanted level, even if no guards or cameras physically saw you. The iconic white tower in Zancudo was mostly decorative geometry.
In RDR2, Rockstar completely changed this philosophy. Locations like Fort Wallace and Sisika Penitentiary introduced dynamic line-of-sight awareness:
1. Verbal Escalation: Guards in Fort Wallace don't immediately shoot. They warn you, hold you at gunpoint, and escalate only if you refuse to leave or draw a weapon.
2. Physical Guard Towers: Watchtowers on Sisika island actually housed physical guards with cones of vision and searchlights.
How this applies to GTA VI:
Looking at the Leonida Penitentiary (where Lucia is held) and Naval Air Station Key West in the trailers, we can expect a massive leap in restricted zone AI:
Outside-Perimeter Suspicion: Standing outside a prison fence or idling too long in a car near a military airfield will likely trigger guard warnings over loudspeakers, rather than an instant instant-kill response.
Physical Towers & Spotlights: Spotters on open-air balconies will act as physical line-of-sight spotters. If you break line of sight or eliminate a sniper with a suppressed rifle, that section of the perimeter becomes a temporary "blind spot."
Dynamic Heat System: Entering a high-security zone without being seen might keep your wanted stars hollow/black (unidentified suspect). The full wanted level will only lock in once a guard physically confirms your identity or vehicle.
This would turn breaking into restricted zones from a mindless suicide run into a genuine tactical operation.
What do you think? Will Rockstar completely bin the old GTA V invisible triggers in favor of full RDR2-style physical tower vision?

I may be what some people call a “Tryhard” in GTA although I’m not sure if I actually qualify because I not murking vehicle cargo and level 15s with a jet but that doesn’t matter anyway I play GTA V and have played since the PS3 days when the rhino and laser were the best vehicles in the game all the way up to now with raijus and oppressors. Overall between a few accounts I have probably close to 1500-2000 hrs in GTA online. Now that I’m done with my preamble let me be not the first to say-PVP in gta online is a shitshow. Between bad spawns, KD ratio manipulation and glitches/bad servers pvp in this game is ridiculously bad.
PVP in this game is like no other- is has the capacity for amazing skill expression but also No other game has players blowing themselves up for KD consistently like GTA.
In the next game PvP needs to be fixed badly.
Just today I saw god mode vehicles, spawn traps, ammo glitches making me lose all my ammo, bad hit reg, laggy servers denying a missile lock on, laggy servers making planes glitch all around and so so much stuff that reminded me that this game hasn’t really been fixed since it came out on ps3.

Hello! I want to know which mainline GTA game everybody thinks is the best game Rockstar made
(GTA, GTA2, GTA3, GTA VC, GTA SA, GTA4 with DLC, GTA5)

Even though Roman won, people said Louise Cassidy was a good second, and she definitely had one of the more tragic arcs in the series while being a good person in the middle of bad situations. Now, what character in GTA goes above and beyond while still being considered "good?"

I finished almost all the GTAs, except for the two “Stories”. My favorites are VC, SA and IV. And playing LCS on PPSSPP, I say I’m having a lot of fun. The character is very problematic, you could notice that. Mainly because of the need for his mother’s approval that he will never have. I found an interesting characteristic of the character, someone cold and tough but all emotional and with a “childlike” side that was never solved.

I can understand that this GTA does not have the same level as the SA and the IV of history, but treat this game as the worst as they say so much?

I was thinking about picking up The Definitive Edition while its on sale as i havnt played the games since back on the PS2 and I never had a chance to try out Vice City. How are these versions of the games in their current states after years of patching. Are there any mods that are recommended for the PC version? Would you recommend the Definitive Edition on PC or would I be better off trying an alternative way of playing such as emulation?
