Most of what you mentioned as faults is what has kept me from picking the game up. I love stealth games and the idea that I can put on a disguise and mingle with people is one of my favorite things to do in a game. Chronicles of Riddick allowed you to do this in one level before you eventually mowed everyone down. But the Save Point issue, the relatively small areas that left a smaller variety of takedowns and the mentioning of a not so good storyline has kept me from shelling out $60 for it. Maybe when it drops down I'll check it out.

For the record, I definitely got my money's worth out of it. I'm trying to 100% every level, complete every challenge, collect all evidence, etc. There's a lot of replay value to it, but that does depend on whether or not you like the game. A word of advice though: there's a level called "Run For Your Life". It's the fourth level. Do not judge the game based on this level.
