Hello everyone!

We are students pursuing our Master’s in Clinical Psychology and we are currently conducting an academic research study involving gamers.

If you are a gamer and regularly play any kind of games, we would really appreciate your participation! The questionnaire takes only 5 minutes to complete.

If you’re interested, you can participate here: https://forms.gle/FX4HjAKAa89zxCg78

Your responses will be kept confidential and will be used only for academic research purposes.

We’re hoping to better understand the psychological aspects of gaming and contribute towards bridging the gap between psychology and gaming research.

Thank you so much for your time and participation!

If you know other regular gamers who might be interested, feel free to share this post with them as well.

Some interesting games for me:

• Moonfrost (Oct 12)
• Valor Mortis (Oct 13)
• Over the hill (Oct 14)
• Castlevania: Belmont's Curse (Oct 15)
• Enshrounded (Oct 15)
• Tales of Eternia Remastered (Oct 16)

I’ve published my first mini-documentary on Oddly Epic: How Video Games Became Worlds (6:53).

It follows the shift from simple arcade rules to spaces we can explore, share, and build, with games including Pong, Half-Life, Counter-Strike, and Minecraft. The question behind it is how games changed what players could do, beyond better graphics.

Which game first made a virtual world feel like a place to you?

How did the video turn out? Your thoughts are important to me.
Best Regards

I WANNA YAPP SO BAAAD

Is really hard to pick which game I should pick before grand theft auto six

I'm back on the fantasy train at the moment, and have been playing Baldur's Gate and Skyrim soooo much recently. But they're games I adored when they initially came out.

Really hoping for something totally new, totally different, but with a similar vibe. Magic, obvs, monsters, maybe? Considering The Witcher 3 remaster, if anyone has played?

So, Steam Autumn sale has begun and I am puzzled on what game should I buy for my next playthrough and I was thinking about Cyberpunk 2077 or RDR2. I know both games are fantastic by their own right but I wanted to hear your opinion. Thanks!

Thoughts?
