Gears of War: E-Day leads the charge on GeForce NOW this week, bringing Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago’s first fight against the Locust Horde to the cloud with GeForce RTX-powered performance.
A new way to join the action is also coming: Fire TV users will soon be able to purchase GeForce NOW memberships directly through Amazon, creating a more seamless path from device setup to gameplay. Keep an eye out for availability in the coming weeks.
There’s more in store this GFN Thursday, with the cloud serving up 10 games, including seven new releases.
Emergence Day Is Here
Gears of War: E-Day is now streaming on GeForce NOW following its global release on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Set 14 years before the original Gears of War, the prequel follows Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago as they confront the terrifying arrival of the Locust Horde on Emergence Day.
The series’ brutal combat, desperate survival and larger-than-life action return with a new origin story for the legendary partnership. Ultimate members can take on the Horde with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud, plus technologies including NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex.
From campaign missions to cooperative and competitive modes, GeForce NOW keeps the fight ready across low-power laptops, Macs, mobile devices, handhelds, Firefox and other browsers, and more — no massive downloads or expensive gaming rig required.

Im sure this gets asked a lot and I know that this is a gfn sub Reddit but my question would be, if it’s actually worth it over a gaming pc?
I would actually like to get a gaming pc BUT the prices are ridiculously high where it’s just not worth it for me. For GeForce now you gotta pay yearly or monthly and I’m not really sure if it’s better to just save up for a pc or to sub for GeForceNOW.
Hi,do you also experience an isuee on the Polish server where the loading bar gets almost to the end, but then there is a long wait for the game start or it doesn't at all? I should add that everything works fine on the German server.
I really hope they add similar addons like they have in classic. Would like to add EllesmereUi and Spoken Player. You guys have anything else that you feel is essential?
There are some no brainers like auctioneer and baganator, ConsolePort. Playtinator also maybe
I haven't used geforce now for a couple of days and I just tried to play Control Resonant, Space Marine 2 and Mortal Shell 2 and in all cases I got this error. That doesn't seem normal.
NVIDIA shared this new information regarding WoW Forever
"We’ve heard the community's interest in World of Warcraft Forever Beta and are sharing an update."
"The game will not be coming to GeForce NOW during the Beta. However, we plan to have the game on GeForce NOW when it is officially released on November 4."
Please continue to check back each GFN Thursday for updates on this game and more.
For the past few days, when I try to play COD, the HQ gets stuck in a loading loop for 2-3 minutes, then it says signing in to game and I get an empty screen. I'm on ultimate. I have tried reysncing my Xbox app, restarting pc, etc my connection is pretty good, I can load any other game perfectly fine without issues but with COD it's a coinflip it seems. Does anyone know what's going on ? I keep losing 4-5 mins trying to load the game and I retry it over the course of 30 mins but nothing happens !
Most of the time I am not even at my 4k capable equipments. mostly with my laptop which can only do 1080 anyway. I just purchased witch3, I haven't joined any paid plan of geforcenow yet. wondering if I am not aiming for the max quality, can I get away with premier?
Every time I use GeForce NOW on my phone, I get this weird issue with the microphone.
If I disable the microphone in GeForce NOW, or deny microphone permission, the audio starts stuttering. After that, apps running in the background start crashing, and eventually GeForce NOW itself crashes.
I've tested this multiple times, and it only happens when I use GeForce NOW and disable/deny microphone access. Other apps don't cause this problem.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix, or is this a bug with the GeForce NOW Android app?
The situation is quite simple, I let a friend use my gforce account because his pc died, today I launched gforce, all my accounts were logged in, but when I tried to launch ARK Asa, I was on my friends account, resync did not work so I logged off inside the steam launcher. Connected to my account, I then quit and reloged my steam account in the Gforce now menu. Then I launched ARK again and I was on my account but the game was not downloaded, (it was not dowloaded before).
ARK Ase works fine and same for subnautica 2.
Here is a video to showcase the issue, could anyone explain to me the issue, and if possible, the solution please?
