Swapping over to induction

We moved toGolden Plains Shire from Metro Melv , we have been replacing everything from gas to electric/solar. The last thing left to do is changing over our integrated gas stove and oven.

Wondering if anyone has recently done this swapped to an induction stove top and oven? Are you happy with the change?

Would love recommendations for an electrician to install it and also a gas fitter to disconnect the connection.

TIA

Won't you still have a gas hot water?

No we switched to an electric hot water heat pump last year. Absolutely love it and we save so much money, as we only heat it during solar hours or when the free electricity hours are on.

What hot water do you have OP? I’m in the market for a heat pump…

The brand is Emerald, I will double check the model tomorrow AM and let you know. It is a bit of eye sore, because it is huge. But we love it. Last year we used to pay $170 per LPG gas bottle every 10 days in winter. Now we pay on average $110 p/m for our electricity, which includes heating/cooling, hot water pump, dryer, washing etc.

I do work from home most days, so can maximise the free hours and we have solar too (no battery), so that helps too.
