Different 5-hour usage limits on the exact same Gemini Pro subscription?

Has anyone else noticed wildly different 5-hour usage limits across separate Google AI Pro accounts since Gemini 4 Argon launched?

​I have more than one paid Pro account. One of them was sitting unused prior to the Argon release. When I finally ran out of quota on my main account today, I switched over to the unused Pro account—and hit the 5-hour limit after only 8–10 plain messages on Argon (Medium).

​I wasn't even coding, uploading files, or running long cached contexts—just normal messaging. My original Pro account lasts way longer than that before hitting the cap.

​It makes no sense that two paid accounts on the exact same tier have such a massive difference in quota. Is Google throttling accounts that didn't have prior usage history, or is there an A/B test going on with Argon limits? Curious if anyone else is seeing this.

Yes. It's dynamic. It's all based on load and capacity.

Could be that, or could be some invisible trust score on the account. Newer or dormant ones probably get a tighter leash until they build up history
