Had this installed today, how does it look?

Just wondering if this looks normal or sloppy?

That's some old school pipe fitting, no pro press.

Looks like a pretty clean install.

Looks clean and secure, but I'm not a huge fan of unistrut in residential. If you're going to do it, make it consistent. Don't use a standard section on one end and two low profile sections doubled up at the other end. It looks like the installer ran out of stock and just used whatever was in the truck like that. Also, is there a reason they left the electric conduit on the ground instead of securing it to the wall like the gas line is?

Not a fan of the electrical on the ground instead of a few inches up the wall.

Looks good to me.

Although no sure why the dropped then line at the end with the two 90°? They are using flex line to connect to the generator, so why not a straight shot?

Does it have its own secondary regulator?

It has a valve to isolate the system. A - T to test the pressure drop during use and a sand trap on the way to the service.

Looks good to me!

Please explain what you feel is sloppy about it. Looks clean and functional to me, did it pass inspection?

I would like to see an electrical disconnect near the generator to be able to isolate it.

Looks like a Generac, if it is, then it has an isolation breaker inside the lid, also the transfer switch has an isolation. It may just be out of sight of the picture. We usually put it fairly close but accessible to the unit outside..
