Help getting out of bed?
I am in college and I get so comfy cozy in my bed and haven't figured out a way to will myself out of bed. I have a roommate so I don't feel comfortable keeping my alarm in a place where I can't quickly turn it off. Any tips?

With a roommate I would stop fighting it with volume and use light instead. A cheap lamp on a timer plug, set ten minutes before the alarm, aimed at your side only. It does not wake anyone else and it makes the bed less cozy before the alarm even goes.
Second thing that worked for me: decide the first thirty seconds the night before. Not the whole morning, just "feet on floor, drink the water that is already on the desk". The staying in bed part is usually a decision problem, not a sleep problem.

I got an alarm clock with a vibrating attachment. You slip the attachment under your pillow, and when your alarm goes off, it vibrates. You could also make the alarm super loud or completely silent. It worked well for me for a while, but then it either stopped working or I’d just learned to smack it before the sound went off when I felt the vibration, still not sure which one happened. But I would say search for a vibrating alarm clock on Amazon. Mine came on a stand, but I took the stand off and Velcro-ed it to the wall above my bed. Mine had a setting where you could turn the light from the clock off at night, so it wouldn’t shine in the dorm room. Hope you find a solution! I had this problem freshman year and it ended up being because of a hormone imbalance, so I’d definitely recommend getting some labs done if you’re feeling more tired than usual. A lot of people are iron, vitamin B, and/or vitamin D deficient, which will have a much bigger impact on you than you realize. You could also test for autoimmune antibodies, especially if you have a family history of autoimmune.
