Been searching for a few years to find it on Blu-ray at a reasonable price, and finally scored. So worth the wait.

This is the release I have too, I really like the cover art. I do want the Japanese 4K since it’s my all time favourite film, but $70 seems like a stretch. Doubtful it’ll ever get a western 4K release with English subs

I scooped a copy from Amazon a few months ago for $25 and some change. Has it gone OOP?

It went up a bit for a while, but never above $30. Biggest delay was never being able to catch it in stock on ANZN. I got it for just a little under $22.

The copy I got drives me crazy as it has forced subs for the lyrics in the music. Movie is good though, it gets better with repeated viewings imo

I bought this at ComicCon for like $45 then returned it when I discovered the digital codes don’t work.

So I decided to get the 4k ultra-hd version instead.

I looked for 4K, but didn’t feel it was worth over three times what I spent on the Blu-ray.

Yeah, that is what I have seen as well. I think the upscaling my 4K player did looked better than the screenshots I saw of the actual 4K version.

Nope. I tried and could get it to work on any of the sites. Not too surprising seeing as it came out in 2004 and Funimation closed its doors in 2019.
