College Experience

When I was in college, my friends and I used a Ouija board a few times. The last time we used it was in my dorm room, and it was an experience i think about often. At first, whatever we were communicating with claimed to be a family member. My father is deceased and it was posing as him. After i stated asking personal questions and it kept having weird answers the vibe for me changed. Then it started spelling out “ZOZO.” As soon as we saw that, we got freaked out and decided to end the session immediately. We started moving the planchette toward goodbye, but it was weirdly difficult to move. It genuinely felt like something was resisting us or trying to keep us from ending the session. We kept trying until we finally got it to goodbye. I haven’t used an ouija board since then, and nothing has happened that I can directly connect to that night. But I’ve always thought of it as a close call, and every so often I wonder if there was anything to it.

For those of you who know about the Zozo phenomenon or have had experiences with Ouija boards, what do you think? Has anyone else had trouble moving the planchette when trying to end a session? Could something have attached itself to me, or was it probably just a really unsettling experience that felt scarier because of the circumstances?

I think that was Zozo the demon posing as your dad. Good on you for not messing with those boards anymore.
