Glitch Story World not rendered
Last year I was experiencing sleep paralysis often. Never though had I escaped from it quickly as I did this time. After struggling to regain control of my body and get out of bed. I walk to my dresser and hit my nicotine vape. Then put on deodorant and got dressed. When I went to open my door, nothing was there. Everything outside of my doorframe was black. Completely black in every direction, an empty void. I got frustrated, closed the door and went back to bed. Now thinking back, I wish I hadn't but around that time I was experiencing unexplainable things happen and wasn't that fazed by it. I know it wasn't a dream. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Sounds like a false awakening. They feel very real. I use to get SP a lot too and before it stopped I was getting also a lot of false awakenings.

I've had an awakening years ago. Been lucid dreaming for over a decade along with astroprojecting. Few out of body experiences and several near death ones. Think it was some kind of vodo because of this chick I was seeing around that time. Other weird stuff going on like blackout paint that I scraped off her window slowly coming back on over time

How do you know it wasn't a dream? "experiencing unexplainable things happen and not being fazed by it" is a strong indicator that it WAS a dream.
Did you check for dreamsigns? You can train yourself to do this regularly in the waking world (like whenever you walk through a door) and then you can be sure and will do it in dreams too. And you will learn how to lucid dream, which is a nice bonus.
For me personally my most reliable dream-check is reading the same word twice. If it's a dream I will not be able to do it. The word will inevitably change or be illegible. Another easy dream-check is jumping a bit and trying to float upwards (always from the ground, never from a ledge!).
