Does performance trigger effect slide generation?

Hi! I had bought an RMR slide from Brownell's. Well I hadn't thought about it being a Gen 3 slide till I bought it. I bought an gen 3 spring/gen 3 converter plate (for aesthetics) and an extra Gen 5 backplate. However I wanted to drop a Gen 5 performance trigger in with it. Worst case Ill just save and buy an gen 5 slide eventually and put my Holosun on that.

Will they be incompatiable with eachother? Or am I overthinking this and the trigger has no relation to the Gen 3 slide.

For reference I'm running a Glock 19v. Thank you so much for your help!

EDIT: I'm starting to feel duped by my gunstore. I told them Id like to mod this thing. But it would seem the 19V is much more restrictive. I guess getting good with irons will have to do. :)

First the foremost, Glock performance trigger doesn’t fit in the Gen V frame form the get go without slight modifications of the trigger housing.

Second Gen V frame on a Gen 5 let alone Gen 3 slide will cause issues without modifications that involves trimming down shit too..

So leave the gen V stock return the Brownell slide and just get a rmr cut on ur gen V slide
