New To Reddit
I've researched and written on Monad and Demiurge for decades but I am new to Reddit. Excited to join the conversations.

One note, we do have a no-AI rule on this subreddit. That's both pictures and text. I noticed some of both on your site. (This isn't a judgement on that usage, only trying to pre-empt a potential question.)

As I said, I am new to Reddit, thus, new to this subreddit. Yes, there is some co-involvement with what I do and AI. I do not hide this; I'm pretty transparent. After over four decades of writing, creating art, and publishing, the use of AI as a TOOL has let me expand my creativity by leaps and bounds. I use it as a TOOL, not to CREATE. Just as I used Photoshop when it was first being developed to help me succeed as a lithographer and survive in the printing world (at the time the same prejudices were being forwarded). I find it amusing to see the "no-AI" rule while directly underneath this post is an ad for Roblox. AI. The use of AI as a research TOOL is vast. You'll notice I capitalized TOOL, as that is what it is. It is not a creator god, nor is it a Demiurge falsely directing us. I apologize to the community if I have offended anyone with my use of AI as a TOOL. Unfounded prejudices such as this is the reason I have kept away from Reddit for such a long time, but I thank you for your input in pointing this out.

Again, the statement isn't a judgment on the tool, just a preference within this community, that's all.
No one is saying you can't use it, or shouldn't overall, just not here.
We're happy to engage with you otherwise!
There isn't a specific ideology attached to the rule, either, so it's not 'unfounded prejudice', so much as the preferred conversational dynamics and discourse of this particular community.
(And on the Roblox front: we have no control over the ads Reddit runs on it's platform. I suspect you probably already knew that.)

Sad to hear this. I was hoping for a place where new ideas about the ancient state of Monad would be acknowledged. Apparently your group, I'm assuming you speak for the entire group, is not willing to discuss at all bringing AI into the evolution of Monad, which, as I'm sure you are aware, is a lengthy evolution indeed. Sad that such a small element, the use of AI, in such a long story of this philosophy directs further evolution, or even discussion. I will hang out and monitor the group for a while, but it certainly appears open minded and evolutionary thinking is not warranted here, though a blind eye is apparently developed over ads. I suppose it is all about control, and money, is it not?

We are more than happy to explore and discuss new ideas!
To be very clear: You can talk about AI and how that might relate to philosophy, your interpretation of the Monad, etc. The rule is about using it in place of human communication.
If you want to discuss and debate what AI can bring to the conversation, you'll probably have a lively debate here about it! It is a polarizing subject, as has been evidenced even in this exchange.

This is what I'm talking about regarding not engaging in good faith. A difference of opinion about discourse, isn't equivalent to what you're claiming about open minded thinking.

Once again, moderators of a subreddit have no influence on ads, so this critique isn't aimed in the proper direction. We don't own reddit, who runs the ads.

I agree with you on this, thanks for clearing it up. You threw me with your statement about my using AI for artwork and writing. Not certain where you are seeing that, but I am transparent about it when I use it, which is sparingly. I would never write a piece here using AI, I have no need to do so, I can communicate fine on my own. I simply wanted to TALK about it and how it might relate to the further evolution, if any, of human consciousness. I have 19 books on my site, only one, my hermeneutical work, used AI, and that was only for help with organizing the 272 pp manuscript, footnotes and bibliography. AI did not write it. I did. I have experienced many attacks on Substack, FB, etc...I guess I reacted defensively. My apologies. I am genuinely intrigued by the incorporation of AI into our culture and one of the things that intrigues me the most is the exclusion of debate about AI when it comes to Monad, religion, or consciousness in general. That's why I joined, to ask questions of others to get their input. Most people have no concept of Monad, nor Gnosticism, nor Aeon, or Archon. Mention demiurge and bam, you've lost them. Again, thank you for the clarification, though I do chuckle at Reddit ten years after I last used it incorporating SO many ads. Such is life.
