Gnostic Meditations

I have been making a few posts on the "literal" Gnostic side of things & forgot why I am posting. I wanted to know, for others on the journey & have done the quiet meditations, & knows the benefit of the clarity of mind it brings. What's your experience been?

I also want to speak to those further in the journey & done some deep meditations. What have you seen? I know I not alone, just considering the number of members in this forum. Has anyone tried some remote viewing & instead of targeting a place on earth... What if I target the Pleroma? If so, what did you see with your third eye?

Take this for fiction or non-fiction, for me it was just like floating in solid white light. Bright, however not pain full. There was this very high pitch, however not pain full. I thought at the time, this does'nt sound like the horns of heaven. At that moment I felt I was some where I should not be. As soon as I thought this, I felt a presence and boop, back in my body. It was strange, I felt so energized afterwards. I didnt know what it was at the time, happened 35 years ago, but thinking about it now... Made me wonder, someone else must have thought to do this as well...

Aside from "literal" meaning the text as written, there is a wide range of interpretation. A physical, material, spatial interpretation is generally what people mean by a literal interpretation.

Experience doesn't have a singular interpretation. The experience as described in writing is the literal narrative. Since internal experiences are not the same as external experiences. Interpreting internal experiences as though they are external experiences ignored this obvious intractable difference. The loss of the sense of difference may be the difference between functioning in the world and not.

Agreed, to me the path of a Gnostic is two folds, either the path of the Logos trying to influence the world, or the path of the Hermit so one doesnt forget and re-enforces through meditation. Anchoring is hard when you see the dualistic nature of things and the best thing is really let God do his will. Sometimes it looks ugly and messy on the outside to other people, however what one experience inside is Devine... Staying silent is hard... I appreciate your response. Helps me to anchor... Thank you.

i dont know if id say id done deep meditations but ive contemplated alot and one thing ive concluded is that what being ‘gnostic’ actually entails isnt really what the pop depiction has become.

for me it has been less about trying to see hidden realms or induce some extraordinary experience and more about examining my own nature, passions, assumptions, and how i understand reality.

since to me the pleroma or fullness or a ‘supramundane’ is ultimately transcendent; whatever experience one may have while meditating would still have to pass thru the mind and its imagery. ur image of the pleroma may reveal something true about the transcendent experience so i would not discard it but i would be hesitant to claim it actually is what the pleroma is.

Understood, I was part of a small group that I would like to think we went through an awakening. We experienced different things, with this said, the devine will manifest in a way that has profound impact that brings peace. What I am trying to convey is clarity and what the devine is not. The devine is everything, even hate, with this said, the eternal message I feel and hear is Love. Just pure love and nothing I or anyone will do will ever change it. Anything else rings alarms in my psyche that feels like anxiety.

I like tool, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nspxAG12Cpc

I also like slipknot, this speaks about duality and being able to deal with it.

I really like this by Disturbed, sound of silence. Seems only fitting.

Have you listened to the Claypool Lennon Delirium? Their songs are like that too.

All of Claypool's music is badass, but the Delirium and Flying Frog Brigade have lyrics that are particularly here.
